This item was better than the one that came with our Garmin. It's a lot larger and has better suction! Very happy with the product, now if we could only stop LOSING it. We've had to replace it like three times :(
This product is ++A. A lot better than the original.
Arkon has out done garmin with this mount works excellent! Longer then garmin and it can turn more then the garmin mount when on the base disk!!
I was sceptical because the price was so cheat, but I like it better then the original one that came with my GPS. Just wish it would stick to my dash with out useing the little sticky ring that comes with it, same as the old one. It does work great on the windshild so thats were I use it.
My mount wore out, and I was about to do some extensive traveling in parts of the United States I am completely unfamiliar with. The new mount worked so well, I was able to safely travel at ease in two cities that I had no knowledge of in rental cars. It held up to the desert heat in the south west remarkably well with no event.
I found this GPS Mounting System to be just as good if not better than the Garmin original. It actually extends out further from the windshield than the Garmin, thus brining it closer to you for better viewing. The suction cup mounting disc is larger than the Gramin and works very well. This system also has an additional swivel point to give you even more adjustablility. I will be using this mount on my motorcycle windshield. Anyone looking to add a additional excellent low cost GPS Mount for their Garmin Nuvi should give serious consideration to purchasing this product as I found nothing cheaper on-line or even on ebay.
This GPs mount is very sturdy, easy to adjust, has a more powerful suction cup attachment than the original, it's cheaper... and it's bigger, too. That could be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on whether you wanted easy storage or to move it towards you from the windshield, which it does, maybe three inches more than the OEM mount. This mount does not include the part with the plug the GPS itself snaps onto. It stops at the ball on the end. You must supply the part that snaps onto the ball, the power cable and the GPS unit itself.
Described item states that it is compatible with the c330 StreetPilot. IT IS NOT. Wasted time and money.
The decription says that this product is compatible with the c330 street pilot, yet there is nothing indicating this inside the package. It is not compatible, very dissapointing!!
