[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently taking college courses and I needed a new laptop because my old one was slowing down and died quickly when unplugged. This ASUS fit the bill perfectly. It has plenty of memory and RAM so when I have a ton of tabs open for research it still runs smoothly. The battery life is good and the screen is very pretty. Great for watching a movie or reading a book. Setup was easy and really straight forward. The keys feel nice and are slightly rounded on the edges with a satisfying click feeling when pressed without being noisy. The track pad is fine but annoying like most laptops so I use a mouse. My only complaint, and really it’s just me being picky, is the finish on the outside of the machine. It does make it look slick and expensive but I wish it was textured or fingerprint resistant because the minute you touch it it has a ton of smudges on it and it’s impossible to keep clean looking.
Highly recommend, runs smoothly, great screen brightness, perfect to multitask to work or school. I use this laptop for daily activities and it's great

I love that the laptop is feather-light and is not problem at all carrying it from one room to another as I switch tasks! The beautiful HD screen was enjoyable to watch movies and unwind after a long day, with great sound, too. I loved the power and efficiency of the laptop, I had no trouble switching from one task to another with no lag time! Battery life was top notch, too! I would definitely recommend this Asus laptop for work-at-home mommas like me!
Got this to replace my old chromebook. I still use that to write on the go, but that's all it's good for. This laptop is capable of running an extra monitor, several browsers and tabs, and is more than fine running a very old work program. i5 is 2015, but still runs faster than 2023 i3.
Asus makes a high quality laptop, I've been using Asus products for a long time. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because the battery life is horrible. I just bought a VivoBook 1500ea, and I adore everything about it but the battery. A full charge barely lasts 2 hours with regular use. A
Bought a month ago. Keyboard is mot arranged on the numeric side of the keyboard as well as my previous ASUS but still like it a lot. Lightweight and powerful!
I wouldn't buy this again. I have issues staying connected to the WiFi (on this device and this device only). It definitely feels cheap to use, but it's also cheap. It does work, just nothing fancy.
