Love the aura frame! I received one as a gift and it was great that it was all set up for me to enjoy. Since receiving I have bought two more as gifts and everyone loves them! Easy to use and fun to look at pictures during the day without having to drag out the photo albums. It's also great that whoever has access to the frame can upload pictures from wherever they are. I just added some pictures to my mother in law's frame and she is in South Carolina and I am in Connecticut - great to surprise her with updated pictures!
Last Christmas, I gave an Aura to my mom and mother-in-law. I was feeling disconnected from family during pandemic quarantine, and ordered one for myself. I love it!! Even though we're stuck at home, I see wonderful memories all day long, and have fun adding photos of my family that isn't physically with me. Even my husband, who was skeptical, walks by a few times a day and pauses to say “I love that picture!” Or “remember that hike in Colorado?” It's wonderful—5 stars!!!
Christmas 2019 is the first (and is likely to be the only) time I've impressed mom with a gift. Unfortunately, the Sawyer frame is so sleek and stylish that mom assumed I'd simply given her a regular picture frame again this year (albeit with fancy packaging and a power supply) and she dismissively set it aside and moved on, praising my brothers (who she prefers) for their thoughtful gifts. AURA is so quick and easy to set up that Mom's low key disappointment with me had barely set in before I had the frame displaying beautifully sharp and balanced photos from just minutes before! This really blew her away. Mom love's the frame and its capabilities and she hugged me for it. Thanks to AURA, I can say that I'm now a 32 year old man who knows the warm and nurturing embrace of my mother.
The first frame I ordered stopped working after about a week. I called Aura and they had a new one shipped to me in two days. They paid for the first one to be shipped back to them. It was just a fluke that the first one broke. The new one hasn't been a problem at all. This is great if you're running out of space on walls and table tops for new pictures! I gave one to my Mom for Christmas and she loves it.
We all pitched in to purchase the Aura frame for our parents for Christmas. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren and are seeing new photos of their babies every day. The setup was relatively easy. I had completed the online gift setup, so there was some confusion when the frame didn't start running right out of the box. We had put a lot of thought into our gift message, but they never received it. Once it was up and running, it has provided them with glimpses into our daily lives. When ever any one of us speaks with them, we hear how much they are enjoying it! This has to be one of the best joint gifts we have ever purchased for them...I would highly recommend the Aura frame!
I got this for my mom for mother's day, as I live in another city and want to show her fun photos when she drinks her coffee in the kitchen in the morning. She loves seeing it, and it's so easy for me to update. The delivery was very fast, it was easy to install, and the screen is fantastic.
These frames are amazing! The pictures are clear and bright. You can edit the size of the photo. The photos are extremely easy to upload. I bought one for my sister and one for a friend, and one for myself. We are all impressed and so happy. Finally, we are all able to look at our long unseen photos. Aura you are a rockstar!
The Aura frame keeps my family close to me. We all have photos that are fun, but not particularly great— that we probably would not bother to print. I just love that the fun photos as well as life's profound moments circulate through and keep family and friends close to my memory daily!
This is amazing as we live out of state from the grandparents. We had an old style years ago that needed an SD card. It is fantastic. Do wish the randomization worked a little better. There are a few pictures that like to repeat waaaaay too often. Would also like to organize them in some fashion at some time.
I have bought both Nixplays and Auras. I prefer the look of the Auras but the functionality of the Nixplays. The Nixplay has much more flexibility in terms of playlists and sharing photos between devices. The Aura frame is more attractive to me though, and I enjoyed the gift option of being able to program it ahead of time.
