I needed this calculator for school, and none of my local stores had any. But, I was able to find it here for a good price and get it on time before classes began. Works as needed.
Arrived on time and perfect! Exactly what I needed.
Just what he needed for college
I ordered this calculator for my Business Finance class that I am currently taking at UW-Whitewater. The calculator does everything I need and more! It was delivered early so that I had it for class rather than having to wait and review the material. Definite worth buying if you are studying/in Finance.
What can you say about a calculator? It does what it is supposed to do....it calculates. I needed this one for a finance class. I couldn't find one on the shelf anywhere in town, so I looked at several online retailers, and Walmart was the least expensive. They didn't have one in stock, but the ship to store option was next day. Great service! As far as a review of the calculator...I haven't had it very long, but so far, it works perfectly. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery. I think it uses a button-type battery. There is not a battery door on the back. It looks like 4 screws need to be removed to access/replace the batt. Solar power feature would have been nice. That's all I got. It's a calculator, and it works well.
It does what i expected it to not bad on price.
Like: Display intensity, solid feel of pressing buttons, extensive range of computation choices. Dislikes: Extremely light weight (decreases sense of quality), battery change requires disassembly, calculator resides in a plastic holder with tiny plastic corner nibs as resting points (would have preferred small rubber press-in dots, not stick-on, to keep item from sliding on hard surfaces), complex order of entries required to utilize TVM operations. Product cost $31 vs. $15 value.
The picture should be updated to the newer version of the calculator. I was looking for the older version (just like the feel of it) but got the newer version instead. Kinda disappointed, just thought I found the older version here. But if you are looking for the newer version, it's a good product.
Walmart sucks! Don't shop here
This seller has sent out my information to someone else, and I received the invoice of a Florida Apartment Complex. My item arrived damaged, and Walmart is not helpful with the return process. At first I couldn't find the calculator in the jumbled mess that was packaged, but it was stuck, under the bottom flap, to the tape! The most outrageous shipment I have yet to receive. Just go to staples for the calculator, if you want it in decent condition.
