in simple words, its like a very large can of thicker chicken soup with good biscuits like homemade, made with bisquick mix or KFC biscuits. I really like it. I dont care for the dinner with mashed potatos though.
I've always loved this meal. Cooks up nice looking and it's just a good comfort meal for me and hubby. I make some spinach with it.
I just happen to have the right size baking glass for this meal.... Its very simple to put together and bake it in the oven but you have to follow the exact directions on how to do so. Some people say it makes a meal for more than three people but I think its enough for 2 if you're really hungry. But the taste of the meal is really good once its baked.
This is a really good option when you are short on time. Its really cheap too. Its by no means family size so you need at least 2. Here two of these kits are only 5 bucks so really affordable considering a gallon of milk is 4.50. Its essentially a can of filling and the stuff to make the top. It comes out of the oven looking like you actually cooked but its ready to go in in less than 3 minutes even with a screaming toddler in the kitchen.
For a cheap meal, this was a quick and easy way to have a wholesome lunch on a cold day! It made 3 servings for me (single person). It took 3 minutes to prep and about 26 minutes to bake … let it cool off for about 5 minutes and you're good to go. It was so easy! Pretty good too!
We would buy them about 20 years ago and they did good for us but now they are total trash.
This is incredibly bland and the biscuits didn't cook through completely and I left it in for 5 more minutes. Salt and pepper doesn't save it and two boxes does not feed 4 people well as a main unless you have all toddlers.
that was absolutely one of the worst things I've ate in the old days it was good but all it was was biscuits by the time you cook it and we made it many times the old days all you had was biscuits very no gravy and nothing it was just the most awful dried out meal I've ever had I would never buy tha
no flavor, barely any stew, 3 tiny chicken peices, buscits had no taste. im just better off at making my own at this point.
do NOT buy this garbage! This has to be one of the worst pre-packaged "meals" I've ever bought in my life. The chicken stew portion of it was so little that there wasn't enough to cover even two biscuits. And what was there had zero flavor. I mean literally NO flavor. I saw no hunks of chicken like pictured on the product. Banquet ought to be ashamed to sell this horrible junk to the American people. The biscuits were not good either...little flavor and too much salt used in them. After only one meal, I now have 7 leftover biscuits and barely any of the stew/sauce at all. I will have to either throw out what's left or try to make some sort of sauce or stew to go with these pathetic biscuits. Please, whatever you do...DO NOT BUY THIS MESS! It's a waste of money and your family will hate you if you try to serve this horror for dinner!
