This desk has been very practical for our office and family needs. I would recomend this desk if your looking for something reasonable in price and to meet your basic office needs.
Product was well packaged for shipping. It takes time to build this unit. I found it helpful to label the bags of hardware myself because some of the screws were similar. This desk is heavy when assembled and has a large surface top. The drawers slide nicely and are easy to adjust. I'm very happy with the final results.
This desk has a large writing surface and plenty of storage space. It can handle your computer peripherals and still have room for books and papers. The wood tone finish is very appealing. It takes a while to put together, but the process is not difficult. Once assembled, it should not be moved. Assemble it right where you want to use it. This desk is a great value.
I needed a desk with a large flat surface for my plethora of computer equipment. Not only did this desk meet that need, it also had the added benefit of a well-ventilated CPU cabinet. Some of the screws were a little confusing, but nothing common sense and a tape measure couldn't fix. One other note: this desk is HEAVY! I strongly recommend you assemble it in the room in which you intend to put it.
This desk is nicer than it looks online. However, some parts were dented, uneven or damaged and we had to call and request new parts sent to us. But they came in only a couple days with no problems. One of the drawers wouldn't fit in straight till my husband drilled new holes to make-shift a fix and balance it out. But in the end, it is nice. I am happy with the product.
I'm very happy with the desk so far. The instructions are pretty straight forward except for the intallation of the slides for the drawers and keyboard shelf. They could be a little more descriptive and explicit on the proper placement of these slides. It could be a very time consuming and difficult to make a correction after assembly. "measure twice, cut once". It is very heavy and I suggest that you assemble it near it's eventual home. Insure that the top will fit through any doors before assembly. It looks good and cerainly serves its purpose. I recommend it.
Overall this was a nice desk. Given that it is not real wood. But that was expected. The brackets for the drawers had to be adjusted. But the desk looks nice. It is larger than what I expected even though I had measured it in advance. Good product for the price paid. The hutch is what I was not pleased with.
Purchased this desk for my daughter and the l-shaped desk for myself. She loves it as it is much bigger than her old desk. She loves the space. It was actually bigger than I had thought but I am so glad I picked this one. Had to have help putting it together. One piece came cracked part way through, but I did nothing about it, since it wasn't a crucial piece.
Be sure to measure your space as this is a very big desk! There's plenty of space to hold everything you may need. (I also purchased the hutch.) It's great to be able to keep the tower behind a closed door so that the little ones don't turn the computer on and off. I've been having a little problem with the file cabinet, it's not made to hold too much weight. Otherwise, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it...especially comments that it's big!
I did not like the appearance or quality of this desk. It is a big desk but I feel it did not live up to the other opinions given. It was difficult to assemble, some pieces came damaged from the manufacturer and the quality just wasn't there. We assembled the desk and returned it the following day.
