I love my desk. It is everything I expected. Top is very roomy for all my paper work. I only had a few minor problems. The packing was terrible. There are no readable directions only pictures. It took my husband about 8 hours to put it togeather and he has experince in in doing things like this. I had to pieces damaged. the printer shelf and a drawer front, called Bush replaced them no questions asked. Now that my drawer front was replaced they do not align very well. They rub togeather when opening them. So beware if you have a drawer or door damaged and needs to be replaced, they may not align properly. But even with those minor problems I highly recomend it for the price and quality.
I love it. It took a few hours to build it but it was well worth it. I have bought several desks and this one is the best yet. Please note that the picture advertised looks darker than it is. It is exactly like the 1st reviewers picture. A very professional looking medium cherry. I get compliments all the time. Very good investment. The top of the desk also provides alot of working space.
this desk is a very good size and value...I have a 22 inch monitor and external speakers with this on the desk I still have a lot of work space with the printer mounted on the upper section I never end up with copy's on the floor.......there was some shipping damage which I did not notice till it was to far assembled to take back to the store....the assembly did take some time but was easy with good instructions
This desk is perfect for the amount of space I have. The only problem I have is the middle file drawer is a little off center. I do believe that anything brand new no matter what the cost should be perfect especially when you carefully follow the directions to put it together. Also, there are no words for the assembly instructions; just pictures, words, and arrows (a little annoying). Otherwise it's fully functional and very attractive. On the pic here on the website the knobs look like they are solid silver, but they are actually antique looking. There is a floral antique looking embellishment on the knobs. It's not horrible, but I was expecting shiny, smooth knobs, not textured.
If you follow the instructions carefully, step by step the desk puts together very well. It took a long time though. I will say that the drawers do not line up correctly and tend to stick a little. Overall, is a nice addition to our home. Very nice cherrywood finish.
The product was difficult to put together and the drawers stick and are not aligned right, the area where the CPU goes should be left open it does not allow enough air for the CPU and the unit will run hot without enough air, we had to cut a hole in the back just so the CPU could get some ventilation, the keyboard drawer should be more centered, maybe move the CPU storage to the other side.
This desk is really good as far as features goes. My draweres are not straight and that really bothers me. It was difficult to put together and took the whole evening. The knobs do not look like the picture at all and I am actually going to buy new ones because I do not like them at all. There is a lot of work space which is really nice and the place for the printer is handy too. I think it was a little spendy for what I got once it was together. I wouldn't say don't get it but I would say shop around before getting this desk.
It was a nice design but took a very long time to put together. Take care in putting it together, as well as using it because the laminate they use comes off very easy. It does look nice ...... from a distance. I feel the price was a little high for the quality. When i received it, it was damaged but i called the 800 # on the box and they had no problem sending me the parts i needed. My overall rating would be a 5 out of 10.
I would NOT recommend this product. It comes in a million pieces, scratched up, scratches easily, and the directions are hard to follow. In fact, 2 months later I'm still working on assembling! I would rather spend the extra money on real wood in a heartbeat!
This product is not what it looks like in the picture. The entire thing is made out of particle board with a wood-like sticker on it. The sticker is peeling off on all the edges and scratches easily. The desk is unstable and looks cheap. I am very unhappy with it. I have paid less for better products.
