Actually bought another firepit first then realized it had some design elements I didn't like. Returned it and bought this one.... perfect! What I preferred about this one?: 1) the heat resistant shelf around the firebox (1rst one was a big metal bowl all of which would get very hot) , 2) much smalller firebox (less tempting to fill/overfill with wood), & 3) the firebox is actually attached (other one rested in leg frame which may or may not cause it to slip/move more easily when jarred.
Set up was easy. Took only a few minutes after unpacking to set up and get ready to use. The only complaint it that the legs could be heavier and more sturdy. Tends to wobble. Hopefully when wood is added it will hake it heavier on top and steady the legs.
Easy to assemble, sturdy, and well worth the money. Now all my friends want one.
The stone around the edges makes this one very nice looking in relation to the all metal ones....
Very nice firepit, but had a few very small dings in it, when I unpacked it. Not too noticeble. Easy to assemble. Would recommend getting a cover for it, if it is outdoors and in the rain. But all and all very nice!
I just set mine up and like the ease with which it went together. it is a little wobbly but all the nuts are tight and would not knock over very easily. I can't wait to use it
This firepit is not very sturdy - have used it twice and the black coat has already come off of the lid and the grate - also, when I received it, the handle on the lid was already rusted - other then that, it's ok.
inexpensive, however, very wobbly, tiles are not fixed down but rather loose and placed in frame, small actual pit area. I exchanged this before using for the round copper one which i love!
The fiberglass top completely disinegrated after about 7 months. Now trying to get a refund...
It was broken on arrival. I returned it.
