I recently bought a large fire pit from wal-mart. The construction was excellent...very sturdy. The design is easy on the eyes. It will support a lot of wood. Had a fire going that was about 4 ft. high. Cleaned up with a hose and water. I would recommend this to anyone.
We just got this fire pit and put it together. We haven't used it yet, but it looks very nice - doesn't look cheap at all. Assembly was very easy.
I bought this for my husband last year for his birthday. Like many other reviewers said, it was a little tricky to get together, but well worth the effort. We use it constantly and it stays outside. It was very hard to find a cover for it and the one I found doesn't even cover it with the screened dome over it. There are a few burn stains on the tile where he placed sticks that were on fire and it has a few little rust spots from being exposed to the weather for so long. I highly recommend this item.
We bought this fire pit about 3 years ago and we absolutely love it. Its much larger than most fire pits I have seen, we use it quite a bit and it has held up fantastic, it even has been left out through the winter with a cover on it and it still looks great. I would highly recommend this to anyone , well worth the price.
I was somewhat hestitant to spend this amount on a fire dish but it was the only one I could find that had this size. However, the fire dish is so attractive and the material a very good quality that I think it is a good value for the money. The tile around the pit makes the pit look very inviting and a beautiful assessory for the garden. I am very pleased.
This was assembled by three guys very quickly & immediately put to use on that cool evening. It's very attractive & meets all our expectations. We love having the outer ledge to rest our feet on & for warming our toes or for placing a beverage on. The only downside is that it does not come with a cover which I'd inquired about on the Wal-Mart website when I purchased this firepit and never received an answer as to which cover to buy. It turns out that because the pit diameter is 45", it's an in-between size for cover manufacturers, so it's potluck for finding one that fits properly...we're still trying to find a snugly fitting one that will hold up in the wind/keep out the elements without being too loose.
fire burns evenly. easy to put together. 30 minutes. go to dollar store and get kids beach shovel to clean out unit. prevents from sratching stainless steal.love the mossaic tile.
The price is right and fire pit looks good and should be a really good product. My problem is when we went to pick up the fire pit. The shipping company practically destroyed the packaging and dented the fire bowl. If it had been shipped well I think we would be enjoying it. We had to return it and are going to reorder.
This firepit looks good and is very sturdy. My pros. The cons: The connections for puting it together are very off. The screws will take a lot of work to get into the holes that they drilled. They tell you to thighten the screws but you can't. You have to use a lot of force to get them in. My son is 225+ lbs and it was rough for him put it together as several people said the same thing on their reviews. The top doesn't fit well and the color looked grey when I ordered it, but it is really a rose color, but I can deal with that. Overall it is a very nice, beautiful firepit. I would recommend it to others just be ready to work with the set up.
This same fire pit was available on another website, but I decided to go with Walmart because I was already purchasing other items. The fire pit works fine. The assembly is easy, but the pieces don't exactly line up correctly. The bowl doesn't completely cover the edges of the mosaic tile ring. It's not as aesthetically pleasing as I thought it was from the picture. The colors on the tiles appear a little washed out. If all you're looking for is a basic pit to burn stuff in, I would build it yourself. Save the money.
