The BEVEL razor performs better than my Merkur razor. I am happy with it. The only issue I had is that I didn't receive it in the original box. If you are buying it as a gift for someone, this might be a problem... The seller sent some BEVEL blades as compensation but I am using Derby Premium blades and don't need them.
Quality product
I have been wet shaving with Muhle, Merkur, Edwin Jagger, and many other safety razors for over a decade and was curious to try a new safety razor. Based on the reviews I picked one of these up, but I was still kind of skeptical because of the price. I was absolutely astonished with the quality of the razor and even more amazed with the shave. This is by far the best safety razor I have ever used. Not one single ingrown hair the next day! You have hit a home run with this razor!
I use the Bevel Safety Razor on my head and face. Since is I am not naturally bald, it is necessary for me to be extremely careful with shaving my head. I have found this product to be the difference that I've been looking for in shaving. This razor teamed up with the priming oil is the best combination to a nick free shave.
I had my reservations concerning shaving my head bald for years but decided to give it a go a few months ago. I started with a 3 edge blade system and it worked but i was concerned about developing razor bumps (similar to the ones found on my neck). So I stumbled across the single blade Bevel System. I only purchased the Safety Razor because I typically only use hot water while shaving. I must say it was the closest shave I had and the result was a wonderfully smooth finish. My girl definitely enjoyed how close the shave was and commented on it for several days. Will definitely continue using this product and likely purchase the aftershave. I've heard some great things about it.
I’ve suffered pretty badly from razor bumps for the past few years, and I’ve tried dozens of multi blade and double edged razors before. I may not understand the science behind it, but switching over to the Bevel DE razor has done wonders for my skin in terms of minimizing irritation and skin discolouration due to said irritation.

I purchased this razor a few months ago and waited awhile to make a review. Main reason I bought this razor was because I use a it to shave my head and was previously suffering with really bad razor bumps specifically on the back of my neck. A soon as I began using this razor, all the razor bumps went away. At first, I thought this was sheer luck but after continuous use, it was evident that this razor was doing the job. As many service members do, I enjoy shaving my head with a good razor and this was a great investment. My wife continuously compliments me on how smooth and health my skin looks on the back of my neck. Great job Bevel!
my girlfriend brought me the razor and I used the product soon as I woke up the next morning and really I love it! I love it especially how smooth it shaves where you barley can feel the shaving but only see the facial hair coming off, doesn’t create new razor bumps, and how it feel in your hand. These products are very clean, neat, professional feel and I highly recommend it to all men with shaving needs. Thank you Bevel
As a woman, this shaver doesn't deliver the close shave or speed I'm used to when shaving my underarms and bikini area. I have to go much slower with this design. I can see how taking your time would be beneficial for men shaving their face, but for body hair, it isn't ideal. I wish this hadn't been recommended for women. I need something I can be much swifter with and be unafraid to apply pressure with.
