Only used it three times so far. Looks great, fire burns easily. Kids love toasting their marshmallows for s'mores. Very relaxing to sit by. Hope it lasts the season! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
solid metal construction makes it reliable and durable. lifting ring on outside makes it easy to move. large size allows it to fit fireplace size wood pieces. quality construction and design makes it a very functional fire pit.
This fire bowl is the perfect size and depth for warm impressive patio fires. Your firewood will fit nicely regardless of the log size. I was nervous about the reviews about rust but I purchased online a good 40 inch cover and fits great even with the screen in place. In addition the handle rail is sturdy and the fire pit is light enough to easily carry to a garage or shed for dry storage. I think its a great price for the quality of the materials and design. We LOVE it
This is my review for the 32" Uniflame Criss-Cross Fire Pit that I purchased a few weeks ago as an early birthday present for my husband. It has met all of my husbands expectations and mine as well. It is very large, and he loves that it has the cross-ventilating mesh all around. It gives off a really nice glow and fire. The bowl is deep enough to fit larger pieces of wood and a lot of it =) The design and construction are very well-made, minus what others have said about the top mesh screen dome, which is not very sturdy and made very flimsy. To not melt the dome cover, we don't put the cover on when the flame is high. I can't wait for the warmer weather to use this fire pit more often. It was a GREAT price for the size and construction of it. I would absolutely recommend this product to friends and family, well worth it in my opinion.
Had been looking for a fire pit for a while, and after reading reviews, decided to go for it and am glad I did. I really like that it's not shallow and you can see the fire from all around. Really holds a lot of wood. Buy it!!
I was looking for a reasonably priced fire pit that and came across this on the WalMart website. It was delivered promptly, and was easy to put together. We have enjoyed it many nights this summer, and look forward to many more. Looks just like the picture.
Large enough to sit 8 chairs around comfortably. Well made. I personally spray painted with high heat grill paint to make sure it wouldn't rust. Can easily move around when it has a low flame. Can make a large fire that keeps you warm sitting 3 feet away from it. Wish I could afford 2 for parties. Cleaned up yard debries with it. Love it!
Walmart had the best price on this firepit by $40! It was a relatively easy assembly and fire ready that evening. It's plenty big enough to get a good fire to keep the night toasty to enjoy and roast marmallows. We have been lining the bottom of the fire pit with foil to make for a quick and easy clean up. Definitely worth getting if in the market for a fire pit.
So far we love this fire pit. With the open sides it allows the heat to transfer out keeping us all toasty. The set up was easy breezy and it's light weight enough to move around from place to place. Where I was disappointed was in Walmart's shipping. I have a store not 5 min away however it was not an item they carried and orders it on line paying extra for expedited delivery. The product was to arrive the next day which would have been perfect seeing as I had made arrangements to have it brought up to the lake. The project however was not shipped for 5 days and upon inquiry learned they did not ship it to my home but to the loc post office. The box was too big to manage alone and it only just fit in my trunk after I had to remove everything to make room. The convenience of online shopping was anything but. So overall I give the product 5 stars but delivery and shipping a 1.
I purchased this firepit based on reviews. Big mistake. I purchased a cover at the same time as the firepit. The firepit was NEVER left uncovered in the rain. Within 3 weeks, I have rust on the underside. Mesh top is also rusted. It will be a huge inconvenience to take this back to the store.
