We have CATAN the board game so was excited to try the dice version. It is similar to the board game with less set up and easy to take with. I like that there are two versions of play. Was simple to learn with our 5 year old easily picking up the rules.
This game is a hoot to play
We love this game! We received it as a gift years ago and have purchased multiple copies to gift since. It's pretty easy to learn and quick to play. Great for travel because it's compact!
I haven't heard about this version of catan- but it is such a fun and easy version, would be great to prepare someone for actually playing full catan as it is simpler to learn. I also love that you can play solo or in duos!
We love the guitar on board game but this is just as competitive and it's convenient
this is a great game that my kids age 9 and 11 love!

Our family loves Catan. This is a super fast version and we can play quick before bed instead of setting up the full version.
Purchased for my grandson along with original settlers of Catan. Will be a Xmas present. Well packaged and arrived on time
I like Settlers of Catan and thought this would be a nice shorter go to. fun game, learned the rules by watching a couple videos and taught my 7 year old how to play. plays in about 30mn. Not as much interaction between players as Settlers of Catan.
