Conair fabric steamer. I read the instructions carefully and followed them to the letter. Once it was heated up, this fabric steamer shot and spattered hot water easily a foot and a half away. I was careful not to overfill so this should not have been happening. Nonetheless I waited for it to chill a bit and then I went and tried using it. Doesn't work at all. It doesn't project the steam. It just barely makes any steam and it just drifts upward immediately. I don't know if it's malfunctioning or just a piece of crap, but it's going back.
I'm going to start by saying I was never one of them people that liked to iron clothes nor was I that good at it. The first time I got a travel steamer I said I'll never iron again. If the wrinkles don't come out with a steamer then I'm not wearing it. This is probably my third steam I believe. I really like steamer. It is very easy to use. You fill it with distilled water to the max line and put the lid back on plug it in and push the on and off button then wait for it to heat up and use it. It doesn't take long to warm up and it stays on and steaming until you are done. The last one I had would warm up and shut down it took me forever to get finish with one item. This is great it stays on until you are done. I can get more clothing steamed with this one. The only problem I'm having is getting use to the shape of this one and it a little heavier then I'm use to but I will get use to it. Like I said before this one does take distilled water which is good and bad. Just make sure you keep some on hand. This would be good for anyone busy mom, singles, dorm, and travel. For travel just put it in your suitcase and a bottle of your distilled water and you're ready when you get to your destination. I usually never travel without mine. I might hate to iron but I hate wrinkles too. Steaming clothes is the fastest and the best way to go.
I've been meaning to get a fabric steamer and just never put it on the must have list because I have an iron. Now that I own the Conair Fabric Steamer I may just toss my iron. How did I live without this for so long? This steamer got the wrinkles out of sheers and then heavy canvas curtains with ease. It took the wrinkles out of my sons suit quicker than it would have taken me to just iron the pants. I love this steamer and now that I own it I can't recommend it enough. I've told all my friends that don't have steamers that they should get this. The only down side was that it runs out of water after about 10 minutes (I couldn't finish my curtains with just one fill up) but I understand why they did that....I wouldn't want to be holding a half gallon of water. This steamer is about perfect. I'm a convert. I highly recommend it.
This was delivered right on time. For those hotels the require you to leave your drivers ID in order to use the iron to get the kinks out of your clothes...THIS UNIT WORKS!!! It gets the clothing wrinkle and creases free in less time it takes to iron!
The fabric steamer is lightweight and compact. We bought new curtains and they were creased so we put the steamer to work. The steamer is lightweight which was nice for all the curtains. The fabric steamer did a great job at releasing the creases and wrinkles in the new curtains.
