My first convection was in our fifth wheel then we bought this one for our park model because we have a gas oven with pilot lights that needed to be lit at all times so turned off gas, set this on top of the stove I use electric hot plate or electric fry pan to replace the stove top the temperature to bake in this oven is the same as what you would use in a regular oven I did cut the tall legs off the round rack because it was too limiting as to what size pans I could use so now can use a round pizza pan and larger round cake pan and 10” pie plate. Baked pies, breads, cookies
I love how quiet it runs. The previous microwave oven was five and a half years old, working perfectly, but the internal door latch broke! I don't often use the convection and grill functions, but I like having them available for smaller amounts of food.
Looks great works great- haven't used all the bells & whistles yet- think the manual needs to be a little more specific on how to do combination cooking
I love the mutli-function of this combo Microwave/Convection Oven. I especially like using the Oven in warm weather so I can bake food without heating up the entire kitchen. EZ to use and EZ to clean!
This seems to shut down when it wants to. I can put a bag of popcorn in for 3 minutes and then try to warm up some hot wander and after 2 minutes the microwave shuts off..not sure why? This is the second one that I have owned and I thought it was unique to the 1st one. I lost the 1st one in a house fire & bought one again & it's doing it again. The other day I pushed the number 3 and it tried to come on & shut down & kicked the breaker and everything shut off. Why would it shut down constantly??
The Cuisinart Convection Microwave oven and grill does everything it says it does and more! I have tried a couple of the recipes from the manual and they were delicious. I needed a multifunction oven to conserve countertop space. It sits beautifully in the corner. The only reason I did not give it a Five Star rating is because I was hoping it would toast bread and nuts as nicely as the smaller Cuisinart Toaster Oven that it replaced.
I liked the idea of having a multi option microwave since i don't like having to turn on the stove oven too often for small dishes and I had had a kenmore auto convetion before. But this brand really threw me off because the convection oven doesn't quite stay at full temperature when cooking. It kind of goes on and off and the temperature keep jumping from about 100° from the set temperature, therefore food takes longer to cook or bake and its very inconsistent. Also I Cannot use the microwave setting while using the timer. So pretty much I ended up using it as a regular Microwave and sometimes for defrost. Too pricey not to function how it should.
Convection has not worked good. Condensation between glass in door. Heavy moisture in oven she using microwave

The reheat and defrost works great. That's about it. Ridiculously complicate manual with icons impossible to decipher. Control buttons require a magnifying glass and it is a grill?" I think they meant toast although this will not toast. Thought we could have a multi-use oven/microwave but not so much. Today the plastic trim on the top of the door fell off. I would love my money back.
