This is my fifth set of the 7 piece block. I keep them for about 18 to 24 months and then replace with a new set. At the price this is a "makes sense" alternative to the high priced german brands. Things I love: Great ergonomic handles, sharp blades that resharpen easily, the see through vertical block makes access easy and saves counter space, easy knife labels identify the right knife for the right application, price is an outstanding value, love the looks. I will never buy another brand.
I like it a lot because it is soft, not heavy and very fine.
Love the stylish, and aesthetic look, easy to identify, moreover, the sharpness of the knives is incredible, can cut an onion in half without much effort. Excellent product.
Perfect. Works fine, easy to work and to take care
It's really more beautiful in person and knives are SHARP! Way better quality knives than anything I've previously received in a butcher block knife set. The black on the knives however can be scratched off so just a word of caution. But overall very pleased with my purchase and already had friends inquiring where I got it.
Very sharp knives - both in product and appearance. We received our first set damaged and support took care of it immediately without any hassle - great PR - thanks! Only thing I have found it that when you put the knives in their slot, they do have a tendency to "scratch" the clear acrylic - plus make sure all are dry or will have wet areas where you need to take apart to make perfect again. We have the coffee maker with grinder and you can't go wrong with it either. Very pleased with these, plus our other Cuisinart products.
My wife loves these knives! Super sharp and cuts everything with ease. The “block” that holds the set is awesome and we love the clear view of all the knives and it doesn't take up a lot if room on our kitchen counter. Just be careful as you can cut yourself easily if you don't use caution!
really sharp knives and cute looking but the acrylic stand will scratch over nothing and it looks bad so would recommend only if you're ok using them without the stand.
Was a good value (albeit on sale when I purchased it). Blades are sharp and cut without much effort. Very compact design doesn't take up much counter space. But handles are hollow. Blades are held by plastic, not metal throughout, and I've cracked a few cutting through tough vegetables like cabbage (fixed with gorilla glue). Still great for the price but be careful how much pressure you put on that blade.
Very nice and pretty but extremely disappointed in their performance. They lost their sharpness after a couple of uses. Round handle is uncomfortable and awkward. Blade will literally bend when trying to cut something due to their "flexibility". I love the old set we had I thought these would live up to the quality but went back to our older pair of Cuisinart knives. And the place holder stays looking dusty and dirty.
