large Rockrider mountain bike is perfect for me, I'm 62 years old at 6'5" Well built, easily assembled and I really enjoy riding it. Instructions were very plain but i didn't need them for basic assembly is all that is required. Only negative was the one quick release for front tire was not installed and loosely packaged but easily installed. 5 star quality
If you're going for a inexpensive bike to get you through all terrains, then this is the one. Honestly, I was a but bit skeptical about getting a mountain bike for regular commute, but the 21 hear combination that this bike provides is something that makes life way easier. No complaints whatsoever! And regarding the aesthetics, well I can't stop looking at it ❤️
This was $150 and a great value at this price. Pretty easy to set up. Light weight. Smooth ride. Good instructions. Unsure about its lifespan but I mean. Cheapest bike around. Easy gear shifting.
Easy to assemble. Has a small seat so you may want to replace it as I did but overall it's a nice bike.
Awesome High Quality Bike! Bought this for my daughter for college. Didn't want an expensive bike sitting out on the bike rack to get stolen. This thing arrived in a large box and you only have to attach the front wheel and pedals. It even came with a tool kit! I can't believe how nice it is for what I paid and the aluminum frame makes it very lightweight! Truly a great buy!!!
Saw bike, read reviews, glad i bought it. Easy to assemble, no missing parts, gears shift great, brakes work and it rides real smooth. I added a stem riser to handle bars and gel seat for added comfort.
Bike nice looking to guy 30 minutes to put together. I gave it a five only because I have not taken it out yet and I have to get a bigger cushion seat
These bikes are great. The can be a problem. You need to carefully examine this kind of bike and have them sitting up and around because this would be my 4 bike returned and maybe 5 ordered within 2 months. The XL was extended huge and long i could barely reach the petal or brakes so i returned for a Large which also had to be returned because of the gears. Its a 21 speed and they can come locked leaving your gears damaged, the bike will not move its back wheel backwards or forward leaving you to shift the gears and the gears are confusing because the left gear has 3 numbers a few bars that follows each number and will only shift a little pass 2 and a few bars dont no why it will not go up to the max. The right gears go from 1-7 some worked and some didn't, not all the bikes ive ordered and had to return gears worked properly or worked the same it varied on what condition your gears were in and was irritating and annoying. Some gears went to 7 some didnt. It can be both left and right gears or just one. If your not careful it can get stuck leaving you to return the entire bike. My daughter had the medium decathlon Rockrider ST50 for Christmas and her gears were not having it. We only got it to move forward as your riding it but will not move at all if not petaling but after we put air in the tires evenly and she got in the main entrance the tires burst while she was still taking off and i heard it and thought she had crashed. The Large gears were shifting alot and i hadnt touched the gears and they began to make so much noise, it was tightening up and loosing the gears back and forth along the ride and the noise would intense. I thought it was the lights i had on the bike bit when i took them off a took for test i was the gears on the bike. They are very very fast and you dont have to do alot of petaling. The brakes are better than any other bike ive had in my possession. You can tighten up the gears and brakes. The tires does grip the road as it should. The seat doesnt move everything is tight but the seats are like bricks and they hurt the groin area and buttocks very uncomfortable to sit on while riding almost made me walk i just petaled fast to get to destination quickly 😅. You have to ajust the bike handles with silicone because i hate the way i have to bend over and lean more to keep control of strearing properly and braking when needed so it can line up and is adjusted for back support it can hurt my upper and lower back area. I like how it rides very smooth and smoothly jump off the side walk and smoothly ride up humps. Very easy to assemble the front wheel just a few things need to be tighten like handle bars, bike seat, petals and accessories. They come with tools but the screws to sheild the gears can be missing often. I love the bike over all. It can be the gears that is a big issue for us.
I bought this bike around June 25 as a gift for our daughter! This bike requires assembly. The directions only include pictures and NO words which makes it very hard to assemble. My hubby took a day off work to assemble this for our teen! It took many hours and he had to search YouTube for a video for support on the tough parts.. Finally, after the bike was all assembles he noticed a missing part-a quick release spring for the front tire. It is referenced in the video but did NOT come with the bike. We called Walmart. They said return it. Hubby says no way, not after all the time putting it together. Currently it is decorating our living room and no one is riding it. I emailed the manufacturer about the part. I am still waiting. Next, we will take it to a bike shop, and hope they sell the quick spring release. This bike was a great deal in purchase! Too bad the directions are extremely challenging to say the least! It is such a puzzle as to what to do next!
