i bought this product because my son loves the movie cars and he needed a toy boy and this one was perfect because it is flexible so it isnt as easy to break as the other ones. I love it and he loves to put his toys in it i would recommend this product to anyone.
I loved this toy box. My husband had to help me insert the plastic ends to make the lid, but other than that it was very easy to put together. Mine didn't come with the red lining either, but the toy box holds a lot of toys and it's easy for my 21 month old to get in it. Wonderful!
After reading other reviews I was concerned it would be difficult to put together.... however, I was pleasantly surprised... The very last bar was tough to get into the corner support but not too bad, you just have to use a bit of extra OOMPH!!!... the whole thing took about 10-15 minutes to put together if not less. My 21 month old Daughter is a "Cars" addict and we watch it at least 5 times a week. When we told her we had a surprise for her and brought it in she started cheering and jumping up and down. She was slightly disappointed because Mater isn't on it but was so excited to have "Ka-Chow" in her rom it was ok. The toybox is very roomy and holds every thing... even her "big toys" the lid is easy for her to take off and put on by herself too. My only concern is that she's constantly trying to sit on top of it since its just the perfict height for that, and its not strong enough for that so she falls in to sit on top of her toys (which fortunately are strong enough) BUT that's why I was trying to buy the wood one with the fabric bins. Alaska buyers beware, Walmart won't ship the wood ones up here (not even to a local AK store) so this was all I could get. All things considered, it really is a great toybox if you are looking for a cloth one. Its fits perfect in the corner of the room, which is now neat. She's learning to put her toys back in when shes done too so that just an added bonus.
We bought this for my sons first toybox and we love it! It is a really nice sized toybox for the price. The only difficulties that we had was in putting it together. When you try to attach the last side (by the velcro strips) it's really difficult to get it to stay. Overall though, it's a great toy box for the price...and it's a lot bigger than I expected!
I was quite impressed with this toy box, it was easy to put together and once put together better quality then I expected. It is perfect for my 3 year old son to put his toys in(holds a decent amount of toys) and easy to put the lid back on when he is done. The only negative things about it are as others have stated it it does NOT have a red liner as shown in the online photo. Also the corner connectors are dark blue, not black. On the box they show them black in one picture and pink in another but they are dark blue. I think they match much better blue but its the point it is NOT as shown. There is some bleeding in the picture on the lid but it doesn't affect it that much. Overall a great buy and well worth the $20. I'm very happy with this toy box!
The cars soft toy box is a very durabe product . It was better than we epected my son plays in it and puts his toys in it .
The directions are not very clear and it was hard for me to put together. Once I was finally done, the final piece was very hard to get in place. One side has Velcro and the fabric is pulled so tight, that the dang thing won't stay fastened. I had to fight with this thing for over an hour to get it together. Not worth it in my opinion. The lid is also flimsy.
This product was not at all what I thought it was. Its very hard to keep the lid together. It was a little confusing to put it together. I should have spent the other 10 bucks to get the one I really wanted!
It's cute but i had a really hrd time getting it together i couldn't even get it together right. The side velcroed and i souldn't even get it over the pole. The top is very flimsy too. I would recommend paying a little more and getting a better one. I ended up retuening it and buying a better one. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. sorry.
This toy box is terrible to put together. The one handle flap that should velcro across will not stretch enough to fit. therefore there is an open flap on one side. you have to be very strong to pull fabric and get it around poles. lid just sits on top, no point at all. bought for my 2 yr old would not recommend at all.
