I absolutely love my Ginsu knife set. They are an exellent product. All of the knifes cut very well and the sissors work great too! I didn't know how bad off my other knifes were until I used these. Ginsu is a great product!!

Got tired of buying set after set and none of them were decent quaility. Some wouldn't cut hot butter! This is the best kitchen knife set I have ever owned, and I didn't have to pay an arm and leg for it either.

Ginsu knives have been around for a long long time and I have always wanted a set of my own. When I realized that people who got their knives 10 or 15 years ago STILL have their knives and they are STILL in good shape, I decided to finally get my own. I am so happy with the knife block and the fact that it can be mounted in a variety of ways. I will use these knives for a long time to come.

We bought this set last year around black Friday. Got a great deal on it!! Been using them for a year and are well worth the price we paid.

While the instruction seemed to be home-made - included pictures clearly taken in a home setting by a compact camera - the product in itself is decent. Seemingly sturdy design, standard features, solid base, flexible mounting. Only complaint is the scissors not having a designated slot (to the extent of my knowledge). Great value for $15.

Very good knives, nice assortment of sizes, nice display block. Seems to be a great value for the money spent.

I always try to settle on the best value for price paid. Since I needed a new cutlery set for some professional food prepping, I scanned Walmart's offers and settles on this one. I was very much surprised about the quality of this cutlery set. After I used it a couple of days the Chef came to me and asked me what I had done to the sliced tomatoes - he's never seen them as clean/fresh cut as these. For the price paid, this is a great value that I happily recommend. One caveat: the handles could be a bit larger, but one can get used to it.

A little disappointed

I bought this knife set for my mother for Christmas this year and was really excited about giving it to her. Being a Ginsu knife set, I had high expectations but upon using them was quite disappointed. For the most part, the knives aren't that sharp at all, with the exception of the Santoku knife (which is a very good knife). Also, after making dinner last night i noticed the handle on on the the knives was very loose. Even after the fact, if you are looking for a cheap knife set that will do a pretty good job, this set is for you. Anyone other than the casual chef should look elsewhere.
