The sword was just the rite size. And padded so it didn't hurt when I got hit.
My nephew loves swords. He is 3 and doesn't know his own strength. This sword is sturdy enough for him to enjoy his creative play but soft enough that it doesn't hurt his siblings when smacked with it. It's perfect.
I bought 2 of these for my 4 year old and they perfect for him. They do get smashed easily on the end, the coloring fades and falls off quickly in high friction areas. My son loves them. Definitely not worth the full $15, but for the $5 we paid they are great.
My god son is 5 years old and I thought this would be a great hand toy for him. It's a waste of money. So small and not made out of any good material.
