After going through hours of looking for toys that would be perfect for a class of my special children, I decided on these alphabet beanbags. It's a great way for preschoolers to start learning their alphabets and still having the ability to toss brightly colored beanbags around. Great for eye to hand coordination and gross motor skills. Very happy with my choice!

The kids loved these

The kids loved these! I had no idea they could be so easily entertained! They made up games and even got our cat involved. These will take interaction with a parent when used as a learning tool. Each beanbag has an upper and lower case letter on it. There is only one bean bag of each letter. Having a few of each of the popular letters would be nice so the kids could spell out words with them. They are easy to grasp for the little kids. Our 8 month old grandson played with them also. It does come with a 7 game suggestion guide but the kids made up their own games. The only way to make this better is to have a few duplicate letters.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love this! This is great for learning words, or picking a letter and letting your child make a word out of that letter, like a is for apple, or you could lay out the alphabet from a to z. You could do so many different things with this alphabet bean bags. And it is very educational too. It can be for any age starting at pre-k (or before pre-k) to over 3 years old. What a great product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small child or children. It is a great learning experience for everyone, child and adult and great bonding time together too with you and your child or children. I am going to see if I can find the number bean bags too to go along with this alphabet bean bags. Go out and get this! Everyone will benefit from this and it will make it so much easier when your child starts school to already be able to know his or her alphabets and even be able to spell a few easy words and maybe even learn how to spell their name too. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS! It also has on each bean bag, on one side there's the small letter like (a) and when you flip it over there is the big letter (A) so your child can learn, like their name, what letter should be capitalized and what words could be spelled with lower case letters! You can not go wrong with this and there is so much you could do with this! I have added a couple of pictures to view. I give this A+++

I was really happy with the Alphabet Bean Bag product. The Alphabet Bean Bags are made with great quality and have awesome embroidery on the bean bags! I can tell that the bean bags will last for a long time. I really love the fact that the alphabet bean bags comes with a drawstring bag for easy cleanup and storage! My niece had a lot of fun with the Alphabet Bean Bags. She is 3 years old and this is perfect for her to start working on her alphabets before she starts preschool so she can get a head start! We love that there are 7 fun activities on the activity guide included so we can have hours and hours of learning fun! All around a great product and we definitely recommend this product to everyone!

For child gift giving, I like to give toys that are both fun and educational. Alphabet Beanbags is just such a toy. It comes with 26 beanbags with the capital letter on one side and lower case on the other. Even the vowels and consonants are color coded to distinguish the difference. There is even a larger bag to put all of the beanbags in for easy storage and travel. It says that it is for pre-kindergarten or 3 and older. It comes with several ways to use the alphabet beanbags as a game. It is made by Educational Insights who manufactures many many games for children and offers a refund within 365 days of your purchase if their game stops working or is "not what you thought it would be". That's a pretty bold guarantee!

These bean bags are great. They are the right size, and come in a nice bag that can fit in my purse, so it makes it easy to carry around with us when we are on the go. The material is a suede-like material, and the letters are big enough for my son to read. I love that they come in upper and lower case letters, it's great for teaching my son the differences. I love that the bags are also light weight, you can't really feel the beans inside the bags. If your kid is a little messy like mine, I took a baby wipe to clean them and it worked fine. One thing I will say, is I would prefer more letters because some words do have some of the same letters but that's fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend it's great for learning ABC's.

This is one of those items that for months and months I thought about making myself so we could have them to help our toddler learn her ABC's, however the Walmart price is less then what it would have been for me to purchase the materials needed to make them myself. So with that being said, I LOVE these alphabet beanbags!!!! They can be used in so many ways for fun, play, and learning!! We've used them just one by one to go over each letter ~ we are working with a 2 1/2 year old toddler. They are a nice size so the letter is easy to see and recognize. She likes the bean bags because of the feel of the beans in them. We have also used them to make games that are learning based. We've laid them all out and I called out a letter so our little one could search and find what letter was requested. She loved doing that!! After we got good at that game, we could lay them all on a pile and call out a letter, once she found the letter she'd get to toss it into a pail. There are so many different activities these can be used for. They can just be for fun or the activity can be a learning adventure.....or both!! I would definitely recommend these to friends and family and will be purchasing some for Christmas presents this year as well. Overall, they are a great addition to our home.

There are twenty-six bean bags representing each alphabet and the bags are bright yellow. Also there is a yellow sturdy cotton bag with a drawstring that holds the bean bags for storage and "Alphabet Bean Bags" sewn on it in blue. The bean bags are enclosed inside of a felt like material and the beads are inside of it and are covered in a plastic material. These bean bags are sewn quite well. All of the consonants are in sewn in blue and the vowels are sewn in red, which is a nice feature to recognize the vowels. Each alphabet bean bag has the uppercase letters on one side and the lowercase letters on the other; this too is a really good feature. I tough tested these bags by throwing them several times (like a child might do) and they did not break. The small beans are so tiny that if a temper tantrum happens :-), they would not hurt. Included in the sturdy cardboard box that holds the bags is an insert called the "Teacher' Guide" and it gives several games and learning activities. These bags are for hands on play and learn for little ones and are a good learning tool for toddlers.

I have two small children I'm trying to teach them to identify their letter. With this product I'm not only able to help them identify their upper case and lower case letters but also to aid with spelling. My children use this product to spell their sight words such as words like was, the, and, be etc. We've also turned these bean bags into a game. The first child to find the letter tosses it into a bin. My children are extremely competitive so this was up their alley. The bean bags contain an upper case letter on one side and lower case on the opposite side. This product also identifies the vowels in the color red. Product also contains a drawstring bag where you can store each individual bean bag. Pros: Easy to use for all ages, Aids in learning. Multiple uses. Made from cloth, but easily washed. I recommend this to ANY parent with younger children. Great tool for the early learners.

Average Bean Bags, Good Educational Tool

Conceptually, these are a great idea. Bean bags and games to help children learn their A, B, Cs as well as the differences between the upper case and lower case letters. There are several game ideas that come with the box, and there are ways to utilize them in other creative ways too. There are 26 miniature bean bags that come with the package as well as a drawstring bag. The bean bags were definitely smaller than I had envisioned. I was expecting large bean bags similar to a corn hole toss type of game, but if you look at the picture attached with this review, they are only approximately an 1.5 to 2 inches square (see a standard sized pen for reference). In addition, even though the letters are embroidered onto the bags, there may only be one layer of thread on the embroidery. The “beans” inside each bag feels as if they're surrounded by tissue paper, so they make a crackly noise rather than a simple bean bag feel. Finally, there are no distinguishing lines to tell certain letters apart (e.g N and Z). However, all in all, this is a simple product that can help teach children their alphabets, so this is a good educational / learning tool.
