I bought this a while ago with high hopes and it actually exceeded my expectations! I had to be Elsa for a kid's party and used it after I finished my face and again once I did my eyes. The venue was a distushingly hot and stuffy gym, which we all know is not a friend to makeup. Even after a few hours, my makeup did not smudge at all! This stuff is simply amazing.
Use it daily! Works great for me I apply before applying my make up! Helps my make up, give a smooth shine!
I bought this about a month ago and I'm so happy I did. I was really just purchasing it to see if I'd like a setting spray. I'm in love. I saw a review after I purchased this that it stayed on all day and through the night. Girl wasn't lying it really does make it stay in place ever through a night of sleep. I can literally wake up like dIs
I love this product, I use it everytime I wear my makeup. It keeps my foundation from smudging or transferring onto clothes, people etc. being a model my makeup has to look flawless for photoshoots and runway shows, and I has to hold up against sweat, hot lights, hugs and Hollywood kisses (darling, so good to see you..cheek, cheek..kiss..kiss) It makes my skin so hydrated and feeling amazing hours!
I have three bottles of this. I'm still going through my first ever-purchased bottle and I have seriously have taken this spray for granted. I usually do one or two spritz around 8 or so inches away from my face. pretty far. I didn't think much of it. One day I decide to do a full face- especially working hard on the eyeshadow. It was perfect. The thing about me is- my liner and shadow creases and disappears after a few minutes because of a nervous tic which makes me squint on the right throughout the day. So, when it came time for the spray, I accidentally spritz too close to my face, even to a few droplets of the product coating and a couple droplets running down the crease of my eyelid. I let it dry, hoping I didn't mess it up- which I didn't and went on through the day. I'm excited to say that coat helped my liner stay flawless and look as fresh as when I applied it. I even decided to sleep with my makeup to see if it would last through the night and I was surprised in the morning to see that it did- again, liner still intact without any sign of fade or smudge. You don't know how happy that made me. I will definitely re-purchase every time I run out.
So I use this when I have a big night out. I usually like to experiment with my makeup and draw designs at the inner or outer corners of my eyes :) Swirls, coloured designs, face crystals and so on (I've attached a pic, sorry about the low quality). Usually, by the end of the night the eyeshadow would have faded and the eyeliner would have smudged. But this product really keeps everything in place, even to the wee hours of the morning! Not only that, when you spray it, your face feels very refreshed. I have not detected any scent to this product, and it has not caused any irritation. I would really recommend this product, especially for people who wear more make up and want it to stay in place. Also good for touching up every now and then, but mainly because it feels so nice to spray!
As a user of Mac Fix + I was looking for a cheaper alternative with a little bit more product than the small size. When I tried this I was a little skeptical but really, it outdid the Fix +! Mind you although it dosen't smell as good as Fix + for the price, and the way it works it dosen't have to smell like roses, but it definitely dosen't smell disgusting! I've repurchased twice! I won't leave the house without it.
I was excited to see this illuminating mist. I use it every time I do my makeup and it has extremely fine shimmers in it but they are barely visible to the eye and they photograph extremely well. It gives you that lit from within boost and a little glowy-dewy set. I took off a point because I wish that it was a finer mist. If this is not sprayed pretty far away you will end up with a very wet face which could make makeup run.
I don't really mind that it came scratched right out of the box but the formula is just too watery. My Other setting spray that I use is by Nyx and when on the face it dries down a little crunchy but thats a good thing cuz it actually does something. But if you'd prefer your setting spray to dry down sticky and not serve its purpose than maybe this is for you. If you'd like perspective on how long it'll last you, I bought it last month and just used the last of it today. That makes sense because i spray it a lot.
I have tried everything to get the setting spray to keep my makeup from melting off but it just never worked. I tried spraying my makeup sponges with it then applying my makeup then adding a final spritz and it lasted a little longer but by the time my shift was over my makeup had melted away. Now I just use it to give my face a nice spritz without makeup in the morning after I wash and moisturize my face.
