this is just the right table, solid, good quality, child friendly in a modern country look setting, very sturdy, just the table we were looking for and could not find it anywhere else for a very good price. Due to the shape, it makes our living room look bigger. In total, I would recommend it to anybody without hesitation; we were for a long time looking for this specific table. we have many grandchildren who are staying with us a lot ; to show how great this table is, this is how our youngest, four year old granddaughter reviewed the table, after she "helped" her "opa" (grandpa) build this piece of furniture: she climbed on top of it, jumped off back onto the floor and said,"now it is a bench, and now it is a table again". the table did not even shake, this solid it is.
I debated on buying this particular table. I have two pieces of mission furniture and they are a walnut to dark oak. I worried this would not fit with my decor, but it works just fine. I love this piece! It's solid wood, heavy, and sturdy. Most mission furniture varys in colors from piece to piece.
I just recieved my table today and I'm in love. It's a little more red for what my decor was going to be, but it will still work. I've had my eyes on this table since last summer. So let me make it plain, I was not disappionted worth the wait. If it's been since last summer than that means it's doing well, I mean 5 stars. Oh one more thing very beauitful in person trust me that's why I'm keeping it even the colors are a little different from my decor. Hope you enjoy yours!
This coffee table is well-built and beautifully finished. It is actual wood and differs from more expensive mission tables only in that the underside of the table top is not finished with stain or lacquer. It is a dark maple and is virtually indistinguishable from the cherry end table that we bought to go with it. Also, it was very simple to put together.
Wanted something on the smaller size to replace a large square coffee table in the family room. This was just what I was looking for, simple yet functional. Had it shipped site to store, staff loaded it into my car. For reference, I had to put the back seats down in order for it to fit in the trunk. Unpacked it at home, it was in very good condition, no marks on the finish and all parts were there. Easy to put together all by myself. Looks as pictured, it is a sturdy table, and I really like the shelf underneath. I have put a couple of small baskets on the shelf to hold remotes and magazines.
I really like this coffee table. It was exactly what I was looking for, and the price was comparable to what I've shopped around for. It was very easy to put together and looks great in my living room. The only thing that disappointed me was that it could not be shipped to my store and I had to pay the shipping on this item.
I ordered a recliner chair then this wonderful oak coffee table. I definitely order again from walmart withouta doubt. Thank you again for completing my living room.
I just bought it n assemble it.. Solid Wood n strong one... I myself 215lbs sits on this table n still very strong.. No movement at all... I know its little more price but i'm sure it will resolve my purpose coz i use it regular daily... for brkfast,dinner,etc... Good one.. Easy to assemble...huh
This coffee table is so good looking and sturdy! Like other reviews said, it is reddish in color like cherry......and that's why I like it and those reviews helped me choose it. It was so easy to put together and the curved width sides are a nice detail.
