I've paid for prescription GERD medications since I developed severe upper gastric issues when my daughter was born in 1985. This item is the first time I've tried an OTC medication and not only is there a significant cost reduction, but I don't have to rely on a doctor's appointment to get a refill. It's a great option.
I am a nusre with severe reflux. This product is most definitely equal in quality and performance to the name brand option, which costs much more. Highly recommend this product.
I've tried them all. Nothing works as good or fast as this Equate brand on my acid refulx. Prescription meds have never been able to do what this over the counter brand has done in less than 30 minutes.

The Equate Omeprazole and Sodium Bicarbonate Capsules are a great ( compare to ) item , to Zegerid. Its what I believe to be , the best heartburn prevention med available. Until now , I've only known of one other brand that makes this product. So , thank you Equate , for making the Equate Omeprazole and Sodium Bicarbonate Capsules.
Love that the Equate brand seems to work better than the "name brands" and is WAY less expensive. Just wish my walmart would have more on the shelves. I had to order online the last two times.
I was really happy to see they finally came out with a generic form of Zegerid. It was expensive and with 9 people living in our house these get used quite a bit. These are a money saver and work exactly the same. We like the relief we get from them without having to wait 24 hours for it to start working properly like some heartburn meds.
This works exactly like the name brand for a portion of the cost. I'm so glad Walmart started carrying this. This is the only medication that works for my husband.
I only have to take one a day! I used to take two of the omeprazole a day and still at times it did work. My sister told me about them. And now I don't need to take them twice a day.
Purchased for $14.97 two weeks ago, and now it is $18.97. Wal-Mart is straight up price gouging.
