After years spent using a spare dining room chair at my computer desk I decided to upgrade and purchase a REAL desk chair. I didn't want to spend a ton of money so after shopping around for a few weeks I finally decided on this one. I'm so glad I did. Not only does it look great, it was easy to assemble, is very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. I chose the Site to Store option for the shipment of this chair so I could save a little money and it arrived in the store in about 5 business days. I had ordered a dresser at the same time and it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive, which was discouraging but the Site to Store option worked well for the chair. I had it assembled in under 15 minutes and have loved it ever since. I'd definitely recommend this product to someone looking for something functional, comfortable and easy on the eyes.
The chair is actually very comfortable, looks great and is a steal at this price. I would recommend it to anyone.
I bought this chair for my office at work. It matches perfectly with the contemporary style of my Ikea furniture. The casters roll easily, and it supports a good amount of weight. It's ergonomically shaped, and very comfortable to sit in. I'm very happy with this chair!
We were wanting an office chair for our new home office, but did not want the big office chair look. We wanted something stylish, but for a great price - and this chair meets the expectation. It is comfortable, raises up and down for table height, and looks great. It is easy to put together as well. I am so glad that we bought it!
I purchased 12 of these desk chairs to use onstage in our spring musical production THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. They were durable and attractive and easy to attach to the wooden desks we made to roll with them. These desk chairs looked great and "danced" with our tap dancers extremely well. Not one of them broke down during the rehearsals and performances!! A standing ovation for the Erne Modern Desk Chair!
easy to put together and really helpful for my back; the only problem is that it's pretty tall, even when it's lowered all the way. my desk is pretty low so i have to prop my computer up so it's eye level. otherwise it's a great chair!
Both comfortable and strong, the Erne task chair is also easy on the eyes and easy to assemble. The "natural" finish goes well with most decors; the stainless steel supporting parts are nicely finished. At sixty dollars, it's hard to find something like this elsewhere.
The chair's lowest height is about one inch taller than I'd like since I am short. It does raise even higher for really tall folks. It's comfortable enough for an unpadded seat. I especially like the birch wood finish; and it was not difficult to assemble. This chair works well for either desk or at a dining table. Unfortunately, I had to pay shipping costs because Walmart does not "ship to store" for our Hawaii island location.
I like the chair very much. It is a good value and was easy to put together. Turns easily and is quite comfortable. The stars didn't show up on my web page, I had to keep trying five times to guess where the fifth star was. Hope I got them all.
Nice chair while it lasted.Purchased 2 of these chairs, One in July 09 and the other in November08 and both broke within 6 months.They both broke in the same place which is where the metal base plate under the chair is welded.These chairs are complete garbage!
