Who Cares about time?!?

We just played this as a family tonight, 2 adults and 2 kids. We didn't beat the box in the time limit but it was very fun either way. You've got to be pretty creative to understand the clues. Also… if you put a certain component into an item the wrong way, you can't see the clues. We wasted 30 minutes trying to see tiny pictures XD. Anyway, I would highly recommend this game for those up to the challenge. READ THE CLUES CAREFULLY!!!! Good luck!

Fun but difficult

Pretty fun but the instructions arent very clear on some of the puzzles. Played it with just my mother and I, we got pretty accurate answers to the first three puzzles but the lock didnt open and we retried the puzzles a few more times and none of the codes we got will unlock it so we cant proceed until we get more people involved or try it again. Sort of disappointing.

Fun but not good for us with aging eyesight

That camera is too small. A bunch of 40-50 year olds struggled to enjoy the game because the fonts, colors and images were so terribly hard to see and read. Even the teens struggled especially with that camera. Oh that camera! Could you make it any smaller?! Family had fun but also very frustrated and gave up.

Great concept, poor execution

I really wanted to like this game. It seems on a different level than other "Escape Room In a Box" games as it contains actual physical objects that you manipulate. However, the components are cheaply made and do not actually withstand the handling that you are supposed to do with them. We had one plastic component that broke, rendering the game unfinishable. The game is good at providing several puzzles at once that you can split up among your group. Most puzzles made since, and we were able to complete them without any hints. One puzzle we still could not figure out even after using the provided hints. We knew how to solve it, but the component required did not fit quite right to provide us a solution. We got an answer that worked, but have no idea how we were supposed to come up with it "correctly". This game requires looking and reading some VERY tiny fonts and pictures. In fact, the entire second half of the game will require someone with excellent eyesight. We ended up getting so frustrated that we could not read the clues that we needed that we quit before reaching the end. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Missing Puzzle Pieces Required to Finish

I want to say this game was fun, but an important piece that you apparently get later was completely missing. We spent so long trying to figure out the puzzles without it (which we got a couple), but we couldn't complete the game because it was required for all the last puzzles. Very disappointed. We looked EVERYWHERE and through all the trash, nothing. Pretty bummed out I wasted my money on this game now.

Could use an Answer Book

We were okay with this until we truly got stumped and the hint book does nothing for you. There should be an answer key like the other game flashback had. We couldn't even finish the game because of this.
