I use it with the solar batteries on my travel trailer, cant power the outlets in the trailer directly (need a different type of inverter for that) but I find that with a multi plug extension cord I can run a couple fans, swamp cooler and TV while charging a couple devices with no problem during the day; at night with only the fans and swamp cooler going I get about 6 hours b4 the solar batteries drain but the inverter has more then enough power to make it happen when youre traveling between the grids. Great quality.
This thing is so cool. With your vehicle battery, DC power you can convert to AC household power. So you can do some thing as simple as charge your phone or run a drill or hook up a compressor for inflating rafts or tires. Just about anything, space heater, laptops, blender, TV, a fan, as long as it's 1500 watts or less. We will definitely have this with us when we go camping or my husband goes hunting. Endless possibilities. It has a clear digital display that shows watts in use, battery level, and a warning indicator. It has automatic protection from short circuit, overload, overheating, ground fault and high and low voltage. All of which gives me peace of mind because I am a worrier. It has three outlets and a dual USB charging port. To top it all off it is only 10”x 6”!! Tuck it anywhere in your vehicle. We are big fans of the Everstart products and always have at least one in all our vehicles.
Our family goes to the river and camps many many weekends throughout the year, With this EverStart Maxx power inverter we are able to just rough it with our tents, enjoy family time and not have to run back to the house to charge our devices. This only took about 15 minutes to attach to our SUV battery and now we can plug in our fans, charge our phones to hear music and keep up with the weather. It has made family time more relaxing because we are not always watching our battery life. Extremely well written instructions and everything hooked up as stated. Great addition to keep our family connected yet dis-connected and spend more time with nature while still being able to enjoy some electronics while we are there. And if there is ever an emergency outage we know we can still charge the important things to keep us informed.
I am super impressed with the voltage this inverter can carry, 1500 watts when connected to a 12v battery. That's enough power to operate most small appliances in if you have a power outage.the digital display is helpful because it shows the battery level and wattage being used you can plug in up to three electronics.
This Everstart Maxx Power Inverter is incredible!! This converts vehicle DC power to household AC power. It has three 120V AC outlets with 1500 Watt output. There are dual USB charging ports up to 3.1A, and a LED screen! This is very versatile, and great for a variety of uses! From around the house, work, garage, etc. The quality is absolutely phenomenal! It does have some weight to it, but more of a heavy duty, good quality weight! We have used this several times in our shop, and it works wonders! It is very handy, and helpful! This is a must have, even just to keep in the car for emergencies. Highly recommend!!!
This converter works so great! Its size is small enough for portability with great power to get some serious work done when electricity is not accessible. We used a power grinder that worked great. With power outages this is an assurance not to mention anything tailgating or parking lot craft fair. I definitely recommend this.
I took to try at camp trying it out to receive some generator time while doing work, so far it worked just fine for the power hand tools that I used with it, circular saw, impact hammer and a small air compressor. I will definitely use this again as it is much more simpler to just break this out for smaller quick electrical need rather than lug out the generator.
My husband was looking for something to add to his truck to plug in power saws while on job sites or even working in the driveway and not run a huge extension cord. He said it was easy to install once you find a spot and gives great power. Great gift for a working man!
I bought one of these in the store and ordered one online. Both of them had problems with the cooling fans. One unit had a fan blade rubbing and/or broken. Returned the item for replacement. One unit the fans would run 100% of the time with the unit turned off (or on), running my battery down. Returned unit for replacement. Now I have two replacement units in the junk pile, still under warranty, dealing with the manufacturer now. Same problem, the cooling fans cycle on and off like they are supposed to for a few days or weeks, and then one day they run 100% of the time with the unit turned "off" . No problems with power output or display or anything else, just draining my battery for no reason. Done with these. The other brand that I purchased have had no problems.
