I had bought 2 lazyboy chairs off of a resale sight. The material had balled on the foot rest from use. This item removed the balls and they look like new.
I have this shaver for only a few weeks, but i used it as soon as i got it. i was amazed at how terrific it worked. i had a pair of leggings, that i thought for sure i would have to throw out. they were that badly pulled. however, i used my Conair Fabric Shaver on them & now i have a brand new pair of leggings. This shaver works miracles!
I've never owned one of these devices. I am impressed and am happy with it. With fall approaching, I am eager to use it on some of my sweaters. I care for my clothes very carefully by hand washing and not putting in the dryer. Regardless of my best efforts, some do show a tiny bit of wear. I trust this is going to make them look as good as new.
I bought this Conair Fabric Shaver after my first lint shaver stopped working. Thank you to all the reviews before me that helped me select this replacement! It's AMAZING! - I have included before and after pictures of this fabric shaver's amazing job on my daughter's volleyball knee pads! ***User note if you hear the fabric shaver slowing down during fixing an item stop and empty the lint container then it will be back to normal "powerful" speed. :)****
An excellent fabric shaver at a very good price for the quality and performance. Completely meeting my expectations. Removes fuzz balls entirely without a trace... makes garments look new! I'm totally satisfied. If you're looking for an excellent fabric shaver you will not go wrong with this Conair model.
My "play" sweaters are now as good as my good sweaters. So so much easier than a brush, razor, or sticky tape! Just need to keep the blades clean by taking off the lint-catcher periodically and running the device a few seconds over a trash can to blow the lint out of the interior.
Saves a ton of money. My sweaters look great again. Great product. I like the choice of fabric settings. It catches the fuzzy pills in a trap. Just a really handy appliance.
This shaver has made three favorite garments use able again! One was the shear burnout tee, I was surprised that it remover the pills, but did not harm the fabric. I would recommend it .
This works very well. It has a hard time taking the pills off of the edges of things, like my robe is covered in pills. It does a great job on the flat surfaces but the very edges of the belt and lapels still have pills
This shaver would be easy to burn out the motor on, the threads and fuzz clog up the blades, so you have to take it apart every few minutes to clean, take off safety cover, unscrew the blade housing, pull out the blades, use a tweezers to pull out the stuck pieces from the shaft. Put it all back together again, use for three minutes, repeat. Then there is the problem of the small area for the lint to gather, with no outlet for air, clogs often. Not very practical, I am making it work, but not easy to deal with.
