My husband eats one day and loves them. Good, chewy and satisfying. Helps him to get his daily amount of fiber in each day and makes him feel like he is getting a treat!
These are pretty tasty, high-protein, and very low sugar. I don't find the texture and taste quite as pleasant as the old recipe, and these sometimes are hard to get out of the wrapper. Still very handy when I want a midnight snack or a snack at the gym or in the car.
Have bought these for a few years, new formula has more fiber which is 5 stars but he doesn't like the taste as well-1* but I like the taste just fine-4*. He said it's a texture change-1* but the smaller quantity for not the adequate drop in price is a 1*
Fiber One Bars have been a regular part of my diet since the first came out. I purchased these as they are their "new recipe" and unfortunately replaced the original. These are not nearly as good. Flavour wise they are OK, but texture compared to the original leaves much to be desired. Also, the "new recipe" version contains increased fiber (42% compared to the original 30%) per bar which necessitated my adjusting my intake. All in all, I would rather have the original version.
I have bought this product for years and it has always been a go-to for a mid-morning snack or other healthy alternative. My children have also love this for some time in their lunch and used to ask me constantly if they could have one even though they were originally purchased for me. The new formula has a taste which is not as good as the original formula. My kids won't eat them anymore and there is an aftertaste that lingers. Also, the texture is more gritty than the original formula. Very disappointed with the new formula.
This "new recipe" is drier and has less flavor (10 fewer calories). There are fewer bars (30 vs. 36) and higher cost per box, resulting gin 21% higher cost per unit.
I have been purchasing and loving these bars for years. The new recipe is AWFUL! They saved 20 calories but the chocolate is not as good and the bars are “dry” and “powder like”! I wrote General Mills to tell them that the new recipe is awful and they sent me a $6 coupon which I will use to try to buy some bars with the old recipe that might still be in the store.
looking for a different product as this is no longer a favorite
Older recipe was MUCH better than the ones I received. Don't like the taste \ texture of these at all. I have bought older "recipe" for years til Sam's quit having them in the store. Was very disappointed with the new ones.
I purchased these Fiber One chewy bars on March 22, 2020. These bars are hard and dried out. I wish I had noticed the expiration date of April 7, 2020. They are terrible.
