I knew the moment I opened the box that this fireplace was going to be different. The manufacturer took great care with the packaging. All of the pieces were well wrapped and assembly was easy. I've owned quite a few firepits, chimneas and outdoor fireplaces with some success and failure. This one beats them all with price, quality of craftsmanship and style! The 360 degree view is just what I wanted. I'm very pleased.
We have had this outdoor fireplace for a while now, very nice on those cooler spring/fall nights especially, and sometimes when you are just sick of winter and want to get outside for a bit! Burns well, radiates a comfortable amount of heat in all directions.
Very happy we bought this fire pit. Having the "roof" on it gives me a little more assurance that sparks won't be as predominant. Plus it looks pretty! The only thing that kept me from giving 5 star rating is that emptying the ashes pan is kind of a pain, but probably is on other styles of Fire pits as well. Glad I bo it!!
I love the way it adds to the use and look of our backyard. Tho only thing I can say that I dont like is how easily and quickly it rusted. i was expecting it to not wear so quickly, I do understand the weather elements just really disappointed on how quickly it happened.
I bought this fire pit because of the reviews. But when we put it together found some flaws. The front door is warped and it has a crack in it. I would return it but I bought it for an event and I don't have time to return it and get another in time so I hope this one will last.
Works well for small fire and a wooden patio. Did not come with a cover. I had to reach out to the company for one, then then mailed me one that is of poor quality and it didn't didn't fit. The cover started tearing after a few months and now I don't have one, which kicked off lots of rusting. This is good for having 4 people sit around it. More than that and it's too small of a fire. The cage design restricts the size of wood logs that you can use. It also makes it hard to move and rearrange the wood from all sides. Easy assembly!
I got this as my 25 year gift from my job. It looks really neat. Assembly wasn't to bad but you have to pay close attention when installing the top. The metal seems pretty thin for what it's meant to do. I noticed one of the screen walls metal strips did not get welded. Also the back screen wall did not line up with the slide in catches like it should. I finally managed to get the left side to go through the holes but it would not slide into place and lock since the wall was already touching the bottom of the pit. Also had to use a hammer lightly to get the hinges to go into place. It was like the hinges were not lined up and welded correctly. Apparently there is not much quality control in the building processes for this item. Since I've just started using this can't comment on the paint job. It looked good out of the box and seemed to be packed well as I did receive this through ups. Did not find anything damaged. All parts were present.
This was used outside and it rusts real easily. The wire mesh that surrounds it is very flimsy and bends very easily. As far appearance it looks better than it functions. I was very disappointed in this item. For an outdoor fireplace it just doesn't hod up. Unless you make some major improvements in your materials and workmanship I would not buy this item again or recommend it to family or friends. If you would like pictures on what I'm referring to I would be happy to send you them.
Despite a couple of "warning" messages, that we hoped were outliers, the product arrived sooner than originally reported, in its original packaging. This would be "0" stars were that an option for a rating! The entire hardware parts bag was missing. Several sections of the frame are bent. Two spots are not aligned properly for construction, so we would not have been able to put it together even with the hardware. Several phone calls, the need to provide proof of purchase, and many emails later, we still have received NO responses from the company. We are returning the entire item to the store immediately. Do NOT buy this product if you hope to receive any type of customer support should something go awry!
Trying to assemble it now, the screws are melted pieces of metal, the screwdriver enclosed can't even loosen. Returning it to store bright and early tomorrow
