This playmat is one of the best. It has a lot of toys, and it's great that you can switch the toys around and use other toys on it as well. The toys it came with are nice, especially the rattles. He likes the polar bear as well, especially because it activates when he moves... so when he starts to fuss, it plays music and that entertains him for a short while again. I love that this product includes a mirror- our baby loves to look at himself in it. And all the animals that go along the bottom are nice and bright and grab his attention as well. It holds doesn't hold his attention too long, but you have to expect that with babies. I personally love that this playmat is so easy to throw in the wash and washes up very well. We have a spitter, so that's a very positive quality in this house!
we bought this for our newborn to start stimulating his visual senses, etc. It's very spacious so it gives you plenty of room to lay the baby down without hitting his head with the toys, it's easy to wash too and quick to put together and move/transport. Worth the money.
my son is four months old. i have been using this mobile since he was just a few weeks old and he has enjoyed it from the start. he smiles at it and gets excited, talks to it and enjoys the spinning animals, sounds and lights. sometimes at night when i am changing his diaper he wakes up and i can just put him under his mobile with the projector on and he will fall asleep as he watches it and the music soothes him. the only thing that i do not like about this mobile is that when i look at it from my point of view, the images on the projector are sharp and look great, but when you look at it from the inside (babies point of view) the images are dull and blurry. i guess the material that they used on the inside of the umbrella part of the mobile is not as good for viewing as the material on the outside :(
I bought this for my 4 Month Old.. He LOVES It!! Keeps him entertained for about a half hour... Well worth the money spent !! He loves the musical bear and the sun mirror the most !
this tummy time mat is the best one yet very colorful and very large which is good. Can be used for up to 1 year of age.......musical and has lights super cute....and Wal-mart has the best price beats Amazon.com which is usually the cheapest...
Our baby is now 8 weeks old and is discovering more and more features. She loves the center mirror and loves it when we rattle the toys. We expect that she will soon be able to make the toys rattle on her own. Interestingly enough, she doesn't really even notice the bear even when it makes noise!
I bought this playmat for my Grandson and it was very easy to assemble. The colors are very bright and he loves laying on it and looking at everything. Definetly a good buy!
My daughter was entertained for many hours with this from birth to 5 months. She still likes it at 7 months, but since she can move around, she doesn't stay under it. I hung lots of other toys and rattles from it, which made it more entertaining. I think this is one of the better "baby gyms."
I found this product to be very pointless for a baby's growth and development. Babies like lights and music and this only has one item with both, It doesn't continuously play, you have to keep pushing it to turn it back on. I dont know what a baby would do with the other toys, they do absolutely nothing, not even rattle. If the toys had lights and music on them every time you pulled on them it would be much better. It is basically a big piece of decoration, Not much to play with it! Way too much money for the worth of the product.
Not only does this not hold her attention but the mirror does not stay in the sun and that is the only part she liked. It kept falling on her so I took it out until I get super glue. I wanted the Rainforest Play Mat by Fisher Price that got really good reviews but I received this one instead as a gift. The only musical part is a bear that is loud and flashes bright lights that you have to attach to one of the posts. I wish it had a toy the baby could pull on that makes noises.
