Nothing has changed on the product. However, i wanted to let anyone who reads this review that, without prompting, Gardener's reached out to us and did - as promised - stand behind their product 100%. As the shipping department probably doesn't have an opportunity to put every item together prior to shipment, if i had to do it over again, i would still order this product. The materials are good - just a simple mechanical flaw (maybe some one at the manufacturer's was having a very bad day).
My husband shopped for the a long time and, when he found this bird bath, he was in love with it. The day came when it arrived - he (we) were both very excited. Then we put it together. Great disappointment. The screws/holes for placing the top and base on the 'stem' are not straight. No matter what we do it is like the leaning tower of Pisa. The material is perfect and, as long as we place the dish on the ground rather than the stand, we are okay with it. But, without the stand, it doesn't work for the area it was intended to be in. For the price, this construction flaw is really unacceptable.
