Easy to use. Met expectations.
I am a big fan of Fiskars tools in general and own several. This is a replacement for a lost one and it is less expensive, and even better designed, than the one I misplaced. It is ergonomically friendly, cuts quickly and easily, and even looks good. And at this price, it is a bargain.
It is used in the kitchen.

I used to use XXXX brand pruners because of their steel construction and the fact that they hold an edge well. But I always slid them in my back pocket; needless to say pockets tore through a lot, and some of those pruners got lost falling through. These Fiskers have a built-in carabiner handle so you can clip 'em to your belt loops and it stays there. I was surprised at how effective the blade was, because the handle is composite, but VERY impressed with how well it works. I just finished trimming/shapping 110' of bamboo hedge and the Fiskers still cuts paper! Great value!
Tool works great for branch diameters of 5/16 inch or less. I'm probably trying to cut larger branches and am dissapointed with that performance. It is very handy to hang on your belt loop while working with other tools. Blade lock can be hard to manipulate, but not a major fault.

They're a bit smaller and lighter than what I expected. Theyre pretty sharp and the clip- on feature is very nice. It was a good buy overall.
