beautiful scent, soft but last a decent amount of time.
It takes a little time for my order but worth the wait. I recently discovered Lancôme fragrances with La Vie Est Belle and Idole at the perfume counter. I purchased both through Dossier and have enjoyed them a lot! This version is not only affordable but a delight to wear. I usually go for amber floral fragrances. It’s bright and clean with a floral hug. I first smell pear and a little violet (but does not have violet note written on description). The perfume is very feminine. I like it a lot.
Let me start by saying I was very skeptical about ordering from this site seeing how it was always a pushing an Ad on my TikTok feed. So I bought blindly bought and did not regret one bit this perfume smells exactly the Lancôme Idole!!! I get so many compliments when I’m out, and shockingly it has a long lasting effect. I got the scent I’ve dying to have since smelling it out of magazine years ago lol without breaking the bank.
I am a huge fan of Lancome's Idole, probably the only one I truly like, so I couldn't wait to try Dossier's Inspired by: Floral Musk. Yes, I'm the person who doesn't think that the fragrances that are inspired by actually should or do smell 'exactly' like each other! Where's the fun in that and many times there's a certain note in one of the perfumes that doesn't seem to be in the other...I like that. That's why Floral Musk isn't called Idole and there aren't lawsuits flying between perfume houses! I like Dossier's version better because the perfume starts softer than the original, I find the original has a sharpness in the beginning, it ends quickly, but it's prickly and I don't know what it is? Nothing in the beginning notes should do that, so it must be mixing with something down the line. I never thought I would give up my Idole, it's one of those beautiful scents that even my 89-year-old mother likes and she wears Joi by Jean Patou! But I think I like Floral Musk a little better! It seems to have better longevity and on my skin, right there is a major plus! Also, although this is one of my most complimented scents I wear, I think I doubled the compliments with Floral Musk. It's such a sweet, demure, shy fragrance, not my personality at all, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to take a break from the real you and do a little pretending in another's...
Smells just like Lancome's Idole! I literally cannot tell the difference! Such a great price for such a great scent!

Loved this perfume! Bought it as a gift for my sister and she loved it. It smelled floral and fresh. Was not strong either!! Dossier does not have many reviews for this perfume on their website but it is very much slept on!! Smells very similar to it’s inspiration of Lancôme Idole.
Smells AMAZING! Perfect happy, clean, floral sent. I wish the sent lasted longer. I feel like it fades fast (but most perfumes smells don't last on me)
