I got their Banana Cream Pie and was very pleased with what I got. The crust was enjoyable and there also was not too much frosting on top which are always my top concerns with pie. The banana cream part was perfect as well. I think I may have just found my new favorite pie at a grocery store.
I came here because these pies aren't in the refrigerated section and I wanted to see if they should be refrigerated. There's no mention anywhere about the need to refrigerate. I'm guessing it's not necessary even though it says it contains milk and whipped cream. I'm surprised there are negative reviews because I don't think they are bad. There's a lot of creme topping, not as much filling and a decent crust. I don't think they are bad for what they are. The filling doesn't seem to have bananas in it, more banana flavored and light. While it might not be the best or richest banana cream pie I've ever had, I can't say I'm disappointed. It just comes off as a light desert. Just my thoughts.
Iâm puzzled by some of the poor reviews. This isnt your grandmothers homemade banana cream pie, but it fits the bill for a quick, tasty dessert. The pie filling is not a heavy banana cream, but very light in texture with heavy banana flavor and a hint of lemon. Good crust, decent cream, and a good value for what it is.
Normally I like this but I bought it yesterday and it tastes sour! I checked online to see if I was the only one. Turns out other people think it tastes sour and like lemon- I agree. Blah!
'should be called "banana Cremora pie". At first we thought it had gone bad. It tasted like plastic and library paste. We're big eaters and not picky, but no one was able to force down a whole slice. "Water, wheat flour, palm oil" should never be in the filling of a pie in a bakery container.
Very disappointing, cream tastes like acyrlic smell, banana filling way too thick and doesnt have any actual bananas in it, and the crust tastes like wheat bread...
This pie tastes like it was dipped in an oil spill then glazed with WD40.
I was very excited for this banana cream pie, as it is my favorite kind of pie and my friend bought it for me for my birthday. It tasted oddly tart and kind of sour. Not like a banana cream pie at all. The crust and cream taste good, but the banana filling definitely did not.
This product is not made with bananas but with imitation banana flavoring. If you like those "circus peanut" candies you might like it. The filling has a disagreeable texture, more like mayonnaise than pudding or custard. There are plenty of fine foods to buy at the Walmart bakery department, but this is not one of them.
Tasted very sour and did not Taste like a banana creme pie should taste. We had one bite and threw it away in the trash
