Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! Period.
Triple Chocolate Creme Pie The name alone makes you want it and it's visually appetizing. Sadly, it is a bit sour as everyone mentioned. It's not spoiled and the taste is tolerable, just not loved. I can't tell if it's the "Chocolate Filling" or the pie crust (both?) that's sour. I did notice the nutritional facts and ingredients list on my packaging (attached) was different compared to Walmart's product images (images 4-6). The notable sour ingredients are Apple Cider Vinegar, Sorbic Acid and Citric Acid. Weird.
We threw the whole pie away after one bite each. We thought it was spoiled, because it definitely tasted sour. I actually found this review page, while trying to find an ingredient list with lemon on it. This pie needs to be taken out of the rotation.
Tasted lemony and sour and was extremely disappointing. Bought it earlier today and it looked amazing. Cut a slice after dinner, so excited for this giant pie with frosting and chocolate and a chocolate filling, took a bite and almost threw up when the contents were sour and not chocolaty in the slightest. It tasted more like a lemon merainge gone bad. Please do not buy this- Walmart stop making this you are doing something wrong.
This pie looked so delicious, my son immediately grabbed it for his treat. So sad I didn't think to check the reviews because it's awful. Had to trash the whole pie bc the bottom layer is so nasty.
I agree with the other reviews. Definitely tasted like lemon in the bottom layer sour. Not what u expect when u buy a CHOCOLATE pie. Gonna call and complain tomarrow. Don't buy it
