These chicken strips are yummy & so versatile, I use them in a lot of meals at least a few times a month. I think they work best in wraps & cut up for pizza toppings. The vegan strips are a perfect size & taste really tasty with just salt, pepper, and olive oil. There are 13g of protein, which is great for my son who loves chicken/chick'n & can add some variety to his diet. #chicknisit #influenstereats Gardein Meatless Frozen Chick'n Strips - 10oz
Yesterday was one of those uncertain what to make for dinner days. So I went into the freezer where we always have a few staple items from Gardein. I came across these chickn strips that we had yet to try. I decided to make this spin off of a traditional shepherds pie and it was a huge hit, everybody loved it and there was none left. I definitely recommend these as a quick and easy meat substitute that even a meat eater will love. Garden Protein International Gardein Teriyaki Chick'n Strips 10.5 oz
These are a delicious staple in our meal repertoire! They cook up easily in all dishes. We use them in pasta and rice dishes, and in casseroles and stir fries. These are a great sub to meat products that are derived via violence, are unhealthy, and practices are bad for the planet. I highly recommend these to you all.
Delicious! Especially when you use your favorite seasonings and pair with rice.
This is my favorite meatless chicken to use for my different vegan meals. I never usually use the sauce pack that comes with it. It's a great meatless meat to try different vegan meal recipes.
We use this when we make fajitas and it's a great chicken replacement. I fry it up in a pan with my favorite seasoning. It's browns up nicely and tastes wonderful. You can't even tell it's not chicken.
Gardein's Meatless breaded chick'n strips are my go-to for years. I did not think Gardein's Meatless chicken strips would turn out as great as they did. I underestimated them. The chick'n has the consistency of the breaded version, but takes the flavor of what you cook it in. It adds a bit of protein to stir fry and veggies. You can stretch out the bag by adding it to a lot of veggies, and you can make more servings that way. I'm really happy on how it turned out. I read the instructions and did not overcook the chik'n. The gardein strips were soft and flavorful. I can imagine incorporating it into other recipe flavors in the future. For now, I'm enjoying it in a stir fry.
These are fantastic if you just learn how to cook them. I generally brown one side heavily in a skillet with nothing added to the pan. Flip and brown the other side, then add frozen red/green pepper and onion mix and fresh broccoli florets. Then I give a nice dusting of garlic salt, cayenne pepper and sesame seeds and pour spray butter over top (you can use regular butter or olive oil etc). Continue to simmer in the butter and seasoning until desired doneness (I like when it starts to develop a char). Its delicious!!!! Even my picky meat eating hubby loves it. My favorite meatless meal when cooked this way and I would be highly disappointed if these disappeared!
The taste of this chicken alternative is great! I have tried them just by pan-frying with a bit of salt and pepper and they are great. But my favorite part is to convine them with veggie and rice noodles. I recommend first cooking the chick'n strips and then the veggies separately because otherwise the can get a bit soggy.
It tastes bad. Not even close to taste of chicken, will not be ordering it again.
