Another great design that was well thought out, well built w/ good quality material. Definitely built to last. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for”!
i love it however it came with a dent in the side and a scratch on the back. It also had a smell like it had been in a damp basement for awhile. I decided to keep it because other than these problems, it is a great waste and recycle can. I am satisfied with it.
Have 2 simplehuman plastic trash cans that have been terrific. One trash, one recycle however side by side they looked ordinary and took up space. Now I have a masterpiece of art refuse in my kitchen. Love products, love warranty and customer service.
We love this trash can. The exterior is smudge free, it always looks nice. The whole unit wipes clean easily. We've had this for a few years now, no problems.
This was a replacement for one that we bought years ago, that the stainless steel top had worn off and then the whole lid completely broke off. This new can is an exact duplicate of that can and it's new and beautiful. I expect it to last several years, like the previous one did.
Love my superhuman step on trash can! I have been using it for about 2 yrs now. I purchased the dual so it make it much easier to handle recycle items & the trash in one container. I live alone so the size is perfect for me. If you have a large Family you would fill it up much quicker. Easy handle to remove the recycle side & just line the trash side with my trash bags. No problems with the step bar to open. Works great when I have a hand full of trash in hand. When purchased I thought it was a little pricey for a trash can, but I feel it will last many yrs to come, saving me money. Love, love it!!! Sandra R.
Love the two separate compartments for trash and recycle. Also the built in trash bag container and odor absorb option. It is easy to use but the trash bags can be tricky to pull out of the refill container. Also, I wish the trash can was about 3 to 4 inches taller. The width is a great size to place along cabinets and the height fits underneath tall cabinets. I would recommend. It is on the higher end but so far it appears to be made well.
I love the trash can. Works well, looks nice. The bags are kept in a pocket that is accessible from inside the can, which is really nice with replacing a bag. Cons: H style bag you have to order from amazon. No plastic liner on the inside of the metal body: you can‘t tap objects on the body to get the crud out. The metal dents fairly easily.
I've been wanting this trash can for awhile. I've been struggling to find a good system for recycling. I've been hesistant about this because 1) its so expensive and 2) I was worried that while it had both compartments, the trade off would be that they're small. I decided to go for it, but ultimately I don't know that it's worth it. Both compartments are small and fill up quite quickly.
I liked the idea of the compact/dual purpose trash can, but the reality is just ok. The trash receptacles are small, and with a family of 5 eating all meals at home (Covid), they fill up quickly. Also the top of the can came marked up due to the glue used to stick the label on, so the stainless lid has a worm like pattern on the top. But, don't try to scrub it thinking the glue will come off because you'll then scratch it up AND have the worm like pattern. Order those trash bags because you'll be taking the trash out ALOT. All in all I'm disappointed, but kept it.
