I used this daily - and I'm so sad that none of the stores carry this. It protects me so much better than the tablets. And much better than any other product. I would buy it in bulk if you would make more. PLEASE START IT AGAIN - it's truly painful without it.
Every since I found out I had gastric reflux and a friend gave me some Gaviscon, I keep it with me where ever I go! I want them to bring the liquid back which coats my stomach and makes it feels so much better. It's so depressing to go in stores to hear it's not available and only the tablets. I don't want the tablets I want the liquid. PLEASE bring it back, it helps me so much!
Gaviscon liquid is the best product I've found for heartburn relief. Works fast. Lasts long. But I can no longer find it on the shelves anywhere; not in the drug stores, not in the grocery stores, not in the big box stores. My drug store no longer has it online either. What gives?
i don,t need an antacid very often but when i have used some in the past it was chalky and awful. gaviscon went down smooth and did,nt leave too much of an after taste. i will continue to use this unless someones comes up with something better [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased 12 bottles of Gaviscon liquid from Walmart at the best price available on the internet. The shipping was free, which made the purchase a great value. The strange thing was that the 12-bottle shipment was made in 5 different boxes delivered separately over a 6-day period. Each box came from the same Walmart address in Bentonville, AR. I'm fine with my purchase and I shouldn't be concerned with the cost effectiveness of Walmart's shipping practices, but thought it was worth mentioning.
In all honesty this product could not have been delivered at a better time. Prior to attempting to sleep, due to overindulgence, I got an attack of heartburn that was turning my stomach and causing great discomfort. To my benefit I remembered receiving Gaviscon and what better test than this. Relief was close to immediate. The mint flavor was somewhat pleasant and the texture a bit chalky but not unpleasant. This product is a keeper and I would highly recommend it on every level. Thanks to Gaviscon the burning quickly subsided, my stomach settled and I was able to get my rest. Gaviscon Extra Strength Liquid Antacid works quickly to alleviate stomach acid. I was very impressed. It is a little chalky tasting but not bad enough that I would not use it. It works well. The cherry flavor is faint but I would say only because of the chalkiness. It really helps my acid reflux. I would highly recommend. I received and tried "Gaviscon Extra Strength Liquid Antacid" in the Cool Mint flavor. First of all, I found the flavor to be very good....I like that the mint is not to strong to overpower your senses, but just enough to soothe your stomach. The product is very fast-acting, it worked within 5 minutes and continued to help during the day. On the days when my acid/heartburn was bad, it took about 8-10 minutes to start helping, but also lasted quite long. The product has a very smooth texture which makes it easy to swallow. How could you produce a bottle with a label that has no instructions? It states 'peel here' to view the instructions, and when you do that the entire label of ingredients/warnings comes off and there is no way to turn the page to see instructions. In the middle of the night I had to google the instructions in order to take it. Very poor usability for the customer.
