We've had this microwave for just under a month and so far it's been very nice. Doesn't seem to be lacking for power. It has plenty of cooking room. The turntable works well. A very welcome feature is feet that are of a non sliding type. The last microwave we had slid all the way to the wall every time you tried to open the door by pushing the release button. This one stays put!
This is the second time I purchased this microwave. The first microwave worked perfectly. Over time the interior was scratched and I replaced it to prevent further damage. All of the settings work as described. It's the perfect size for and very reliable.
Bought to replace a Sharp microwave that only lasted 3 years. Already noticed how quite this model is. So far we love it.
Has a sleek look and a basic selection of pre-programmed cook times. Our shelf is only 16" deep so the selection of microwaves was limited. Hard to beat for $99. On the down side it's a bit noisy when operating but it does the job.
Looks good! Sometimes the touch pads need to be pushed a little harder to make selection.
We have only had this unit installed for 3 days now, but it replaced a very similar model that we had for 10 years then it suddenly died. So, we are hoping for at least as much from this unit. Operation is simple and relatively self explanatory, probably due to having a previous model. Currently, the only complaint I have is that the operations panel is printed in a light grey color instead of bright white, so it is difficult to see in lower light conditions. I would much prefer the bright white printed control buttons like on the old model....
Took it out of the box and right away I saw a Big Dent in the top right back corner!! They packed it already dented because there was No Damage on the packaging Box, so it did not appear to happen during shipping. But this microwave is great for the price. It seems to work fine but I've only had it for 1 day.
Very loud, and plastic peeling over numbers
I find it kind of dangerous. Occasionally sparks and flames come out of the inner metal square mounted on the inside of the microwave. I feel it presents a serious fire hazard. It goes out once microwave door is quickly opened. I think it is an electrical issue.
The inside costing is chipping. So disappointing! This quality of this microwave seems lower than what I expected from GE. We did not use this enough to justify the paint to chip.
