This ice maker is fantastic. It is so quiet! I don't even notice it. I also love how sleek it looks on my countertop. I love the wifi feature, makes it so nice to have control from anywhere. The ice is perfect! Very impressed overall
We are really enjoying the ice maker and drinking a lot more water because of the nugget ice ! App works well for scheduling when the machine makes ice.
We love the nugget ice, makes plenty of ice for a family of 5. It is a little louder than I expected it we use the schedule option and let it run at night while we sleep.
Makes the best nugget ice. Must continue to clean per the guidelines which is relatively easy. I put mine near a sink for easy cleaning! Sleak appearing - doesn't take up too much counter space
I crunch ice. I literally seek out the places that have the “good ice”, will go miles out of my way for a gas station with the good ice. This machine has saved me! It makes the perfect cruchable ice! I adore this wonderful machine! (Allow me one bougie item, ok? 😂)
We love our Opal nugget ice machine! It's quiet and makes plenty of ice that is addictively crunchable! The support team is very responsive both via phone or email, should you have and questions or in need of a warranty repair or even a replacement. We highly recommend and would purchase this machine again!!!
WE LOVE OUR GE NUGGET ICE MAKER. THE ICE SEEMS TO ABSORB WHATEVER LIQUID YOU PUT INTO IS-LESS WATERING DOWN OF YOUR DRINK. I LOVE TO CHEW ON THE ICE.
This is my 3rd Opal. This 2.0 is a lot quieter then the others. I clean and descale monthly but these units usually overheat or stop working around 3 yrs. Make sure you buy a extended warranty!
At first, I loved this icemaker, and of course the size of the ice unfortunately less than a year ice maker has this annoying constant squealing nonstop sound. Could not return for a refund! Definitely not worth the money.
My kids chipped in to get this for Christmas for my wife and me. Worked for about 3 weeks as advertised then the noise came (squeaking) . So loud you could hear it throughout entire house. Hate to tell my kids what their gift is doing.
