This processor is perfect for all your cooking needs. It is versatile and chops, shreds, cuts and mince in seconds. I love it!! I would highly recommend it.
Sadly, I had to return this product. There was ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with it! I want to make that clear. It would have been perfect for me. However, I recently moved into senior housing. The kitchen (I kid you not) is exactly 5' long. There wasn't space to store or use the food processor. I am now on the lookout for a smaller processor that will do almost as much as this GE product.
This machine is fun and easy to use. Easy to clean. Efficient. Love it.
I love this food processor, it has been well designed for use, food storage and clean up. Well worth the price.
My processor came in time for christmas dinner preparation and for several birthdays since. It has made preparation of relishes and sauces easy.
I've owned mine for years. Easy to clean (top level of dishwasher), varible speed is nice, the ability to eject sliced foods directly into an external bowl is great when preparing large amounts of foods. The grater and shredder blades work as expected, the 450 watt motor hasn't slowed down even with large loads in it. At the highest speed it's almost a giant blender that can puree, I usually use the lowest speeds to chop or mix. Yes it has a pulse with the same speed ranges. I don't remember when I purchased the machine (a few years ago) and I finally found some cracks around the base of the S blade. A 10 minute call to the number on the base of the unit had a new part shipped to me for only $10.49 (including shipping) and I expect to get several more years usage out of it. I rarely give ALL 5 STAR ratings to anything! But I haven't found any flaws or weak areas on this food processor. I was surprised to see that it is still for sale at WalMart and would highly recommend it. As mentioned earlier, because of the food chute and multiple blades it does take up some counter real estate, but to me that's a logical tradeoff for the extra functionality.
This machine worked when I plugged it in the first time never to work again. Returned it for a Hamilton Beech one.
