This grill is great! I am certainly an OG Foreman Grill-er and will say that the older versions were better, but in the spectrum of the FGs currently on the market, this one delivers. The larger grills do not get hot enough and this grill gets VERY hot, cooks VERY quickly, and sears in the flavor into the food. (It's my experience that only the smaller FGs get hot enough to be considered grilling rather than smoosh-baking something.) The only caveat is: do not be fooled by the pictures! This grill holds 2 regular-size hamburgers or 1 larger chicken breast. I debated taking away a star for the misleading advertising.
I haven't used it yet but my old GF grill finally “passed” after 30+ years of use. One of the reasons I was so excited to have this new one was for the removable plates for easy washing.
Just right for one (1) or two (2) people. Easy clean up with the removable plates. Lid has a very nice expansion knob for those triple layer sandwiches or 3-4 large stuffed hamburgers. Great for Senior Citizens, not too heavy to carry or maintain or clean. It is "Senior Friendly" product. Perfect for those who want less pots and pans and healthy fat REMOVAL too. This model is the perfect one for l-2 people, with space for 4 hamburgers easily. The "Removable Plates" and also most important the "Function Lights" Red and Green one on the lid. It tells me when my George Foreman Senior Friendly Grill is ready for cooking..... Thank you George Foreman, for it is people like you that make a product for people like me so very "Senior Friendly" to use in my kitchen...
I did not encounter any issues using the grill-it did That which I thought-grilled perfectly in minimal time~cleanup is simple and great for someone as me who does not enjoy or know how to cook-recently lost my wife who handled all the cooking.
this is the 3rd one I have order for my mother-in-law(she is 94 and can't see well) she can use in stead of stove
Works great and is bigger than the original Foreman Grill I used to have. I am able to get 3 pretty lqrge chicken breast on it at once with no issue. It Cooks very fast and is way easier to clean than the last one I had. The drip tray also seems made better than the previous models ans I had no spillage of the drippings at all. My one and only complaint about this one is that there is no where to put the drip tray on the actual grill for storage. I like to try and keep everything together so it doesn't get misplaced.
Really enjoy grilling outside but when the weather is inclement, or you just want to do a quick burger or steak. Nothing beats the George Foreman. Easy to use and cleanup is also easy. Last night I made two 6 oz burgers in about 5 minutes, they were thawed first which did aid in the speed of cooking.
Not satisfied. The cord is way too short and the drip tray doesn't attach to the bottom of the unit.
Purchased this as a gift for my wife. It seems to work fine, but the top came out of the box with chips and pitting in the paint. Finish is poor and not smooth. The included photo shows just some of the damage. This isn't available at our store so we purchased it online. We already disposed of the shipping box and we don't want the hassle of a mail-in return. Very disappointed!
I'm currently learning the item ordered (George Forman Grill) and I do find it easy to use. I only wished there was a cooking timer included or perhaps I should have included a cooking timer with the order.
