I was skeptical to buy this swing due to the poor reviews. However, I've been using it for about 6 weeks for 12 hours a day and it still works well. My son only sleeps well in his swing, so I needed one that plugged in and would last the extensive hours of use. Considering the number of hours that this thing has logged, I already consider it worth the money. The sound did quit, but that wasn't an important feature for me.
The pictures show red but it's actually pink. Good thing I have a girl or else I would've had to send it back.
At the beginning, it was a great product. It's plugged in but it's not swinging as hard as it did when I first got it. I think the motor is starting to fail. That's what I get for buying a cheap glider.
Bought this from the website specifically for the plug in feature, stopped working after 1 week- even when used with the batteries only. Disappointed.
I bought the first in October for baby shower and the second last month. They're both out of commission. Not impressed
I have to return this already. It's been only 2 weeks. It stopped swinging!
I would give this swing 0 stars if I could. We are on our second motor and it's already broken again. My daughter is only 3 months old and only weighs 12 lbs. the music stopped working the first time, and the swing barely swung at all. Not only that, the clicks it makes when it tries to swing are loud and obnoxious. Graco sent us a new motor to put on the swing 2 weeks ago, and it's already broken again and doing the same thing the old motor did. This is obviously cheaply made and overpriced. Take my advice and DONT by this swing. I'm going to go pick up a different brand of swing altogether.
A total disappointment for the price paid. Expected more, got way less. We have had the swing for less than 3 months, yet the sound is crackling or barely plays, the swing itself clicks loudly when it works, NOW the swing does not move. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY...Nothing more, nothing less!!!
I wish my grandparents would have read the reviews before purchasing this for me as a baby shower gift because I feel like they spent a lot of money on a horrible product. I starting using this product towards the end of October, and now mid December the swing no longer swings and could be considered a very expensive CHAIR! The music box hasn't gone out like most reviewers but I wouldn't mind if it did because the nature sounds are horrible and the music sounds like garbage. Don't waste your money.
We got this for our daughter who was born at the end of March. It worked great exactly once. The second time we used it the sound was all garbled but I figured at least the swing part works. Well, after using twice without sound the glider barely moves even on the highest setting. My daughter is barely 7lbs so I know it's not her size being the issue. This thing is just pure junk.
