The swing was awesome but after 3 months the motor went out. I contacted Customer Support though the Graco baby website and told them of the motors shot life span. They contacted me back on the same day and said "A new motor unit has been sent at no charge. Please allow ten business days." It only took 3 days for the motor to arrive. I am giving this swing a perfect review because I am blown away by Gracos Customer Support! Thank you Graco!
I had a Graco swing similar to this when I had my first baby 7 years ago. The design was almost identical and I've loved it, but 4 babies later it finally broke. I use my swings heavily and babies sit in them to watch me make dinner and watch siblings play up to one year of age. I borrowed a different style swing from a friend until this one arrived at my house a week later, and I couldn't wait to get rid of the borrowed swing. The "can't live without" features of this swing include: heavy plastic bar that goes across the front of baby (swings without this that only have straps just feel so unsafe to me), the fact that the plastic bar has a one hand opening so you can be holding baby and open it with one hand, the one handed very easy recline latch, mobile above head easily adjusts so you can push it out of the way, easy push buttons that allow swing to fold up for more efficient storage and moving from room to room, cradle that swaddles baby in a perfect position (especially when baby has a cold and needs to sleep on an incline), great "white noise features", super easy to use control buttons, and BEST FEATURE EVER: the plug in option! I can't say enough about this swing. I love it so much I was willing to pay the full price even though I'm on my last baby and she is already a few months old! I wouldn't even consider other brands, or other Graco models.
We got a swing for a shower present that swings in a half moon shape, our daughter hates it. So I was hesitant to buy another swing she might also hate. Luckily my mother in law has an older version of this swing (six years old and still going) so we tried it and amazingly she loves it. My mother in law is also our babysitter, so to have one at both houses I bought this one at noon on a Tuesday and had the item assembled in my house by Wednesday night with just expedited shipping. Very impressed. Love the swing, lifesaver!

Thank God I was able to find this swing because I don't trust these new swings because they aren't sturdy as you think they are the price. I'd rather pay for this swing than the new ones.
This is a great buy. Especially if you have bigger/older baby. My 8 month old daughter will only sleep n her swing, and got to big for 1st swing. I looked at this & a Fisher Price swing, bought Fisher Price first (cost $ 40 more). Didn't like it at all. Was not sturdy, seemed unsafe so Returned it. Got this one & LOVE IT! Love fact that it plugs in, never have to worry about running out of batteries in middle of night again. Only negative is wish it had toys on the tray. If you are tryig to decide between this & another swing gwith this, wont ble disappointed.
Overall we are happy with our purchase, however the motor was dead out of the box. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they expedited a replacement which works fine.
We rely heavily on this swing!! We bought it when my daughter was 5 days old and at 10 months we still use it at nap time and some evenings. The only problem has been the motor, which was quickly replaced all 3 times by the company. The fabulous response to my need for a replacement was more than I expected. If a product is going to have flaws it's best to deal with a company who puts your satisfaction first, so for that I am grateful! BUT... it does stink that the motor and subsequent motors have all died within less than 2 months of use :-( Hopefully they have gotten those kinks squared away by now.
This swing is nice. It runs on ac power which is nice. what I don't like about it is that it has a tray which I removed which doesnt really add any value. It is just in the way and makes it awkward to put the baby in and out of the swing. It isnt needed by an infant that small. The music on it and sounds are somewhat disappointing. They dont sound very good and I often dont use the sounds only the swing.
Assembly was pretty easy. But once I got it together I was disappointed to see that it did not swing. The motor does not work. The music played just fine but what's the point of a swing that doesn't actually swing. I contacted graco and informed them of the issue. I've been told another motor will be sent to me. So now I'm waiting on a new motor in hopes that the new one will work.
