my grandson loves this swing its really smooth nd the sounds aren't real scratchie like some are excellent product
The swing was a great idea but Walmart shipped it to the registry I bought it for completely wreaking the surprise thanks again Walmart
I bought this swing about a week after my daughter was born. It was working fine, but after a month it stopped working. Oh called to get a replacement motor and it was never delivered due to a wrong address(I gave the right address but the delivery guy didn't know what letters Trlr stood for)but after giving them a call and a new address I have received the motor. I am putting the swing together today, I hope it works just fine.
I received the swing as a baby shower gift. I have the whole Sonoma Collection. The swing stop working all most right away. It sounded like it wanted to work but would not swing at all. The customer service at Graco has worked with me a few times in trying to get me new parts so my swing will work, this has failed three times. The wrong motor keeps getting sent. They are now going to replace my entire swing. The unfortunate thing is that it has taken three months to get here. I may not be a fan of this swing but I am a fan of Graco customer service! They have kept trying to fix this issue for me. They have been pleasant ever conversation I've had with them. Their wonderful customer service is what will keep me a fan of their products. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed hoping that the new swing will not have same issue!
Worst swing ever. My baby is only 11lbs. And it doesn't even swing. Soon as I pick him up. It's swinging perfectly. It has 6 levels and that's not even enough! Don't buy this trash.
They have the same pic for the Forrester version too but this one (milton) is the one I have because it doesn't have the capability to be plugged into a outlet. Received this as a baby shower gift. ONLY used 3 times. Loved it at first - the different swing styles (it only swings front and back, not side to side) and the music (even though one song sounded like a wedding song). The 3rd time we used it the music faltered and stop, thinking it was the battery we ignored it as long as it continued to swing. During the same 30 min use we noticed that the swing continued to slow down and eventually stop and we had it at speed 6. Replaced the batteries and The 4th time - same incident - it would swing on speed 2 then stop and eventually restart at a faster speed and then no matter what speed you put it on it barely moved. Luckily I kept the box, having the receipt mailed to me and getting a totally different brand that has an adaptor. PROS- loved the gender neutral lining - loved the swing modes when it worked - loved how stable it felt (and weight limit) - loved how soft the material felt and the headrest CONS - short battery life - faulty motor and make - poor sounds/music selection - poor durability
This swing is terrible! I received it as a gift at my baby shower. Thought it was perfect because I needed something smaller due to limited space in my home. The size is about the only thing that I like about this swing. It stopped working completely after 3 weeks. The sound works but it will not "swing" on any level. My baby rarely used it until that point. As another reviewer said at one point it would just stop after 2 minutes and would need a push to get going again. Now on level 6 it barely moves at all. I wish I had read these reviews before putting this on my baby registry. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk!
i got this soother swing and had my daughter not even two weeks ago and she has only been in this 3 times no longer than 15 / 20 mins each time . i went to turn on the music to see if she would like it and it sounds like a dying animal. all screechy and loud. The swing itself needs a "push" here and there to keep moving and my daughter is only pushing 7 lbs. The motor is completely shot its definitely not the batteries. i would never go and buy this again , i dont even want to return it to the store to get a " new one" id rather buy a whole new product
I registered for this glider, along with every other piece of Graco Sonoma for my nursery. I wish I would have found these reviews first. I have had nothing but trouble with this product. Speed 1 of the 6 speeds completely stopped working after 2 days of use. We shrugged it off and went on to speed 2, which seemed to work fine. On the third day of use, the sound started going in and on and faded away completely. My husband changed the batteries in the unit, which did not fix either problem. Luckily, I saved all the receipts and manufactures information and will be getting a full refund. Lesson learned: Read reviews before purchasing!!!!
As a very excited first time mom, I was eager to shop for and register for items that my new bundle of joy would be able to use; however, I was very disappointed with this selection. My mother-in-law bought this glider as a gift for us, as I had picked out and registered for several matching items. My husband and I assembled the glider, which was quite the challenge, as the fabric was very difficult to button together and when my daughter finally arrived, I placed her in the swing and was very excited as she gazed around in response to the music and noises that the glider played. I did not test out the actual swinging motion until about 2 weeks later only to find that the glider would not glide. I was very puzzled and thought that maybe the batteries had died, so I replaced them only to find that this did not fix the problem. The glider will not move with or without my daughter in it, though, it does make a very unpleasant clicking noise as if it is trying very hard to perform the task which it was designed for. To my dismay, my mother-in-law no longer has her receipt and I no longer have the original packaging, so I am stuck with a glider that will not glide and she is out $90. I definitely would not recommend this product and will be looking for a new swing from a different manufacturer.
