The Hart 20-Volt Cordless Hybrid 12-inch String Trimmer/Edger and Blower Kit is great to have and easy to use. I like the fact that it is Cordless, the 20-Volt rechargeable battery combination is perfect. The 20-Volt's is powerful and the batteries last a long time, I trimmed the driveway cracks and edging - then I used the blower to blow it all clean and I used the blower to blow off the patio in the back with one battery. These tools are really easy to use and hold on to, they fit very good in the hand and are balance to not fatigue the hand and arm. The blower has the handle in just the right spot to handle easily and comfortably in the hand. If you are looking for a sturdy and easy to handle trimmer and blower combo, this is the one for you. Get yours today.
This set works great. This has so many awesome features. First of all the fact that this is hybrid is so cool, you can use battery or cord, which makes this so versatile. If for some reason you run low on battery, you can switch over to a cord and finish the job. The string trimmer/edger works great. You can trim weeds, and you can then convert it to a edger which you can use on your lawn. The fact that you can do both with just one tool is a really great feature. This tool works great on any size yard big or small. The blower/sweeper has great power. It can blow to 170 mph which is a lot of strength to take care of a large project if needed. Both of these tools are lightweight and easy to handle. This came with 2 batteries which allows you ample time to get your stuff done. I was able to do my back and front yard with ease, just with these two tools. I would highly recommend this product, to anyone that has outdoor work that needs to be done quickly and efficiently. Great quality product, I am very happy with this set.
After doing a month of research and online comparisons. I determined this 20v trimmer blower hart set with 2 2.0mah batteries was the best value. I love the line of tools so far. I purchased the drill/driver combo a few months ago and that also came with a 1.5 mah battery so now I have 3 batteries that can be used. On the trimmer the 2.0 mah battery lasted about 40 mins which was more than enough. To do my front and backyard. It was an easy set already came assembled. The spool was already attached with string preloaded. The trimmer is automatic feed button so I did not have to stop and pull more trimmer line out like my black n decker. And the line never broke. I just kept going. It makes edging alot more fun and effective. And no walmart did not give me these tools for free like some other reviewere. I purchased these on my own because I know a good buy when i see one.
This product is amazing! It has so many options and is a great size! Easy to store and easy to set up! I love that we have so many options, including cord or battery! This is truly a great product for anyone who owns any size yard! I am a single woman with a small yeard and this is truly a life saver!
This set is awesome. Comes with hybrid weed eater and blower. Easy to assemble, had it together in less than 5 minutes. It's very lightweight so you can even have the kids working with it. It comes with a battery so it can be used cordless or you use with an extension cord, in case you need to complete a quick job but maybe you forgot to charge the battery last time. Oops. Great set!
This HART Trimmer/Edger & Blower kit is perfect for small to medium yards. I could never use my husband's larger trimmer/edger because it was so heavy, but this one is very light and I can maneuver it with ease. The trimmer easily converts to an edger with a rotating shaft. The blower/sweeper generates a medium air speed, for blowing the patio, garage or leaves in the yard. I really like the hybrid technology because you have the option to use the 20V battery for easy maneuverability or an extension cord for unlimited time, but it is more limiting. This kit also includes 2-2.0Ah batteries and a fast charger. Overall, this product is convenient, lightweight and perfect for small to medium spaces. Comparing the cost of comparable products, this hybrid kit is definitely worth purchasing!
I was so excited to try this new hybrid system. On first impression, I must say, I love the white and black. It is such a sleek look that you wouldn't expect for lawn equipment. Both units are very light and easy to assemble. For the blower, you just have to attach the nozzle and the trimmer only requires assembly of the top handle. The blower has a simple on/off switch but the trimmer has a much needed additional safety feature. You have to press the top blue button in order for the bottom switch to work. I like that because I know I will turn it on accidentally. The blower is really strong and now it doesn't take forever to blow out my garage and driveway. We used it to blow out the gutters and it was so powerful that it blew mud and leaves all into my husband's hair. He was really amazed at the blowing strength. The best part was when I had forgotten to charge the blower's battery up before using it. We started cleaning the gutters and then the battery died. Oh but now that doesn't mean your day is ruined. We simply pulled out our extension cord and plugged it in and continued with the same blowing power. That changes the game and sets the hybrid system in a league of its own. I love it. I found the trimmer equally easy to use and it made edging my flower bed a breeze. The only down side is that the white gets dirty really quick but that wasn't too much of a problem. They wiped clean with some all purpose cleaner. Each unit has its own battery and they charge surprisingly fast.

This was a real surprise in the box. It is a trimmer and a blower in the box. I thought at first that there would be like different attachment to one thing, but it was actually two different tools. It also came with two battery attachments. This way you don't have to trade off the battery between the two yard tools. It also has a place where a cord can be connected to the trimmer and the blower if needed. Some people have small yards and may forget to charge the battery, that is where the cord comes in. The blower is not the strongest one I've seen or used, but it works well. It is also fairly easy to handle and control the items in which you wish to blow away or into a pile. The trimmer is very light weight and easy to handle. I can get into small areas that you can't normally get a lawnmower into. I think that it did a very good job on the corner of yard I decided to use it on. I recommend this little box set to those who have a small yard to keep in order.
I wish I could give the Hart 20-volt string trimmer five stars, and this is no fault of the trimmer. I just have too big of a yard and I run out of battery before I finish trimming. That being said, if you have a small to medium yard, this trimmer / edger/ blower combination is a light weight dynamo. It has amazing power from such a small battery, and cuts trough the toughest grass and weeds with ease. The trimmer is both light weight and well balanced with very little vibration that often comes from the larger gas trimmers. This makes this trimmer ideal for ladies or older folks, like myself, that tend to tire from the weight and vibration of the gas trimmers. The fact that the trimmer is also an edger, saves time, space and the expense of buying and maintaining a separate edger. The blower works surprisingly well to be electric, and again light weight with the small battery. The good thing is that if you find that your yard is a bit too large for the life of the battery, there are optional power cords available from HART. For anyone with a small to medium yard, you can't go wrong.
I have the 12" String Trimmer/Edger & Blower Kit made by a company called Hart. I was really excited to put this product to work, but I was a little disappointed. The blower is said to generate 170 miles per hour of air speed. It does have enough power to blow random leaves out of my garage, but it does not have the power to tackle bigger piles around my concrete drive area. I was also a bit disappointed that it only has one setting - it is on or it is off. There is no high and low option and the one option it has just does not feel forceful enough to me for most of my jobs. The trimmer/edger is an interesting gadget. I find the trimmer/edger to be a bit difficult to handle. Not only does it seem to be heavier than necessary, but it is also designed in a fashion that makes holding it and maneuvering it seem awkward. The weight is all at the bottom and so holding it at the right angle takes some strength. The trimmer is easily converted to an edger with a rotating shaft and that is a nice feature. The trimmer includes an auto-feed head and uses .065" line and spool. One great feature about this product is that it is hybrid technology meaning you have the option to use a 20V battery or you may choose to use an extension cord, whichever you find to be easier. It also comes packaged with two batteries so you can have a battery for each piece. This is an interesting kit and would probably work well for someone in a townhome type setting with a very small space. It is not a kit I would recommend for someone with anything other than a very small yard.
