The air purifier takes cooking smells out of the room real well
Silent on Low, quiet on Med. and High. Works excellent, you can smell the difference throughout the whole house and no more sneezing!
With this air filter you get what you paid for - an affordable priced yet efficient air purifier. I was looking for an air purifier b/c it was my first winter in my new apartment (and last!) and I was constantly sick and feeling congested as soon as the heat started up. I eventually came to the conclusion that it must be b/c of the dust and whatever else is coming from the heat vent (it's an old building). This purifier is working great for me. On low and medium settings it is fairly quiet and on high it's a little loud. I usually have it on medium setting and when I'm not home I leave it on low and it works great. It also helps get rid of odors I think. I have a studio that's about 11x14
Best air purifier on the market
Have had this air purifies only about 2 weeks. It's quiet and the air quality where we use it in our master bedroom is fine. That's what we were looking for, so we are very satisfied.
Seems to be working fine. However Honeywell put a tag on the cord near the plug in stating that the unit should be run on the HIGH for a few minutes first for ultimate performance. I did not even notice that tag until the next day after the unit had been running on Low or Medium. So I'm hoping the unit is running as it should be. I do not understand why that warning wasn't placed over the setting display area.
I bought this product because of a smoke issue at my apartment. My husband & I both have asthma and I'm 4 months pregnant. I tried being nice, we tried propping open the main door to the complex - then we got the landlord involved - and bought this machine. The landlord caulked around the hot water heating pipes (which helped immensely) but this is a pretty good machine. It's relatively quiet - hubby wanted to complain that he wouldn't be able to sleep with the "white noise" but so far so good. We might get another one for the baby's room once s/he comes along.
Unfortunately, the product was either damaged during shipping or is just made poorly. When we turned it on medium or high, the propeler inside clicked the wall of the shell, making a loud, disturbing clicking noise. We then had to return it to the store. We will be trying this whole ship to store thing again with this product, and hopefully it will work out this time -- I plan on opening the box in the store and plugging it in to make sure it works. Stay tuned.
