I have had this computer for a little over 3 weeks and I must say it is just lovely. Aligning the cartridges was very easy and it prints very well. I use it for at least three hours or more a day. The instant ink is great. I have 6 months of free ink. I used all of my black ink last week and another ink cartridge has been sent to me. I love the service and printer. Hoping that things will stay the same. I will update you with any changes. I recommend this printer.
So it's pretty confusing to set up wireless if you have to do it with the WPS button, but if you call their customer support they walk you through it very easily .! I love the printing, color comes out very clear! I love this printer because it doesn't take up so much space %26 that's exactly what I need on my desk!
HP hit a home run with this HP 3700 printer. Very small foot print, same good quality as larger HP printers. Scan, copy, print work all very well. This is an ideal product for portable use. We were forced to replace the 'antique' HP 6968 all in one that lay fallow last summer because of the pandemic. The print head clogged and could not be removed to clean so I found the HP3700 at Walmart.com and it was delivered to my door by FedEx. The attached pix shows the HP3700 sitting on top of the barrel that is filled with the HP6968. If there is a downside then it would be that there is no automatic feed on the scanner and there is no duplex printing. I don't think it has a fax capability but then again who still uses a fax machine?
Perfect for me ... so far so good ... compact which is great, can place it anywhere ... This is what I was looking for , for my home office ... The colors are amazing ! I will be signing up for the 6 month ink delivery ... good deal , since it can get very expensive re-filling ink ... and I want to make sure I get the exact ink ... Just a quick note , can be tricky setting up with your laptop and once setup it prints very very slow , but the colors are great ... I also just bought a new HP laptop .. so its compatible ... but my other HP laptop does not seem to be compatible, maybe because of the age 8 yrs .. ... also, when following directions I suggest you just look at the diagram pictures to setup , much easier than following printed words of directions ... also , once connected to your computer, the printer will print out automatically the remaining directions to connect the right way to wi-fi, which I thought was very kool ... also, if you need a USB. cord, you have to order it, it does not come with the printer .. just a plug for the electric ... also, the printer can be used with a desktop computer as well, does not have to be a laptop ... over all a good buy and a good price ... HP is a great brand btw.
I bought this printer several days ago in-store. After getting it plugged in, I had little trouble linking to WiFi Direct and WiFi itself. With these features I was able to print from any device anywhere in my home with ease. However, upon linking the HP Smart app for Android and PC, you must go through a step that requires you to go to the printer's "EWS"- like the 192.168.XX manager page for your web router, only this time it's your printer to hit some buttons and get it working with their "Web Services" to enable Instant Ink and printing from your phone when not at home. I was horrified to be prompted for an admin "custom pass" that I never set! Searching online for resolution returned nothing but other angry customers, and there was no help with HP Chat support who redirected me to their currently closed phone lines. However, I managed to uncover the secret in a buried thread on some obscure forum! The pass you're looking for on this printer to enter EWS and get your "claim code" is located as shown in my review photo- behind the flip-away panel where you put the ink, on a sticker. It is not labeled well- simply "PIN" with a lock icon next to it. I thought it was the WiFi Direct pass/PIN! (but that's a different one you can get by holding down the WiFi Direct and Info buttons at the same time for a few seconds with ink and paper loaded). There is NOTHING I read on any page the printer can give you or in the box with the device that tells you what that PIN is for or just HOW INSANELY IMPORTANT it is! I hope this helps someone in the future- this is a great little buy for the in-store price (roughly 40USD) that would have been returned within a week if I hadn't cracked the code! :D
Pros: This is a decent printer. Its small so it can pretty much fit anywhere which I needed. The set up isn't too bad, and I like that it comes with ink. The HP Smart app is also very convenient! Cons: It prints very slowly, slower than any printer I have used.
(Walmart: HP DeskJet 3772 All-in-On... is arriving soon. We'll leave the order at your door. Reply HELP for info; STOP to opt out) Texted and emailed that the product was delivered with the front door pictured. The thing is, it wasn't the right house. Photo attached of where to deliver and the actual house that's where it needs to be deliver. 1. Product where it was delivered 2%263. is where suppose to be deliver The customer services that were helping us today was unprofessional. Now we are ordering it again but this time we have to drive for an extra miles for pick up. To avoid the mistake!
The driver had the audacity to step back take a picture and then take the item with them. This item was stolen by the driver now I got the Reba purchase and go to the store to pick it up because now I do not trust Walmart drivers look at your call log I was calling to report the package not there when the driver was pulling off with the package. Check your call logs.
I'd give it 0 stars if that was an option. I've always bought HP computers and printers.. This printer sucks.. It won't connect to wifi. It leaves ink smears all over everything I try to print. I've tried every suggestion online to correct it. I've wasted numerous evenings researching and trying to g figure out what the problem is. I no longer have the box and can't do anything now, but throw it in the trash. waste of $100.. Has anyone else had any luck with having HP fix or replace it?
It prints. It is very slow. It makes copies that are differently sized, have additional lines, and are sometimes distorted. I have yet to make a copy that I can use. I have yet to get it to scan a full page as the place where you insert it the page to be scanned does not grab the paper evenly or in some cases at all. I'm hoping I can return it.
