Me and my boyfriend are loyal butter eaters only but we got the I cant believe it's not butter simply and I was surprised at how good it is was creamy great taste and healthy we used it on everything and I definitely will purchase as the health benefits are great without tactics artificial like most Margarines you have converted a couple of butter lovers "I received a free product for the purpose of my review. I love to spread it on toast in the morning and it is Simply Delicious!!
Now I can't buy the original CBINB since local stores are only selling the new product which does not taste at all like the original. Time to try Land O Lakes.
Sigh. I thought my retailer was out of your product for two weeks - oh no, my family has enjoyed "I Cant Believe its Not Butter" since my children were born and now they are in college. But on the 3rd trip I noticed that it was simply in a new rectangular package, or so I thought. I tossed a large two pack in my cart and figured all was well. I did notice the price seemed a bit higher and the containers smaller, but just assumed like everything else I would just have to pay a bit more to get what I wanted. However, after tasting I realized more than just the package was different. Enough so that I looked it up on the internet - which is rare for me, but this is such a basic staple item that we are accustomed to. And so the good news is that I don't have some rare disease that changes how things taste, the bad news is that your product is no longer enjoyable. Also, I always felt the original was supposed to be healthier than regular margarine - but now I am not sure? Why the change? Were sales down? Why not original and no GMO for those people who care about that? Anyway, I guess I will go back to regular butter like when I was a kid in the 1960's and 70's for most stuff and olive oil now and then like my grandparents from Italy used.
I accidently bought simply light margarine. It would not spread on hot toast in mornings. I like the original light margarine and hope you continue to make it. I would definitely recommend the original, not the new simply. It just doesn't have a good taste.
I used to love it. Now, when melted on my usual cinnamon rolls, it separates and is watery. It's in a new container, did you change it? It's no longer worth the extra expense.
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light has always been one of my favorite products. I've been buying it for years. It's always been what it claimed to be. Very flavorful, and yes, it tasted like butter. Well, not anymore. Your new formula in a square tub is tasteless - like the oleos of old. It is no better than any of the other less expensive tasteless margarines. Why did you spoil a great product? I will not buy it again. Since you've altered the ingredients, for truth in advertising you should alter the product name as well. The new title should be "I Can't Believe Anyone Will Think This Is Butter."
I have tried the new "original" ICBINB I absolutely dislike it. Tastes nothing like my old and beloved "the original" one which I fell in love with from the first bite. Unfortunately I am unable to find the old original:-( they only sell new and unimproved kind in the stores nearby.
My husband and I have been using the Light version for years and years and have been perfectly satisfied. Now not so much! New recipe DOES NOT melt and DOES NOT taste like butter. Will no longer be purchasing this product unless you bring back the old recipe.
I have been a consumer of this product for over 20 years. I tried the new blend and do not like the taste at all, and it will not even melt on my toast. I used it in my mashed potatoes and my son would not finish them, he said they tasted funny. Sorry to say we have switched products and the tub of lard tasting spread went in the trash can. I am really disappointed. Bring back the other spread.
