I live in an apartment with bathroom drains that have never really drained well. I've tried many of the other brands and had not found anything that would completely clear either the tub or sink drains effectively, until now. I used 1/2 a bottle in both my sink and tub as the bottle suggests. Let them sit overnight and ran hot water the next morning. To my surprise, my sink drained easily with the water turned on full blast. With quiet optimism, I moved to my tub and turned on the hot water full blast. It also drained perfectly. As a matter of fact, better than it ever has! I now have two bottles of this on hand most of the time. If things start getting sluggish, a half bottle goes in and sits overnight. It hasn't failed me yet, and keeps them draining well for several months. Keep in mind we are a household of two grown women with medium length hair and a dog that gets bathed regularly. I hope Wal-Mart continues to carry this, because I will certainly continue to buy it!
I poured the liquid down my clogged drain and 3-5 seconds later my drain was unclogged. This product works extremely welll. I will only use this product if I have a clogged drain again.
this works WONDERS with unclogging pet/people hair in the tub and facial hair in sink! so if this doesn't unclog your drain then you've got something else stuck in there...
Fantastic stuff! I've used Drano gel for years once a week trying to keep my drain clear. I figured it was hair because I rinse my hair in that sink often. Even using Draino regularly the drain still never drained well. I decided to try this stuff and when I saw it was just like water I thought, great this isn't going to work! I used by the directions only one time and I left it for 24 hours and then it seemed a little clear and when I went to use it 12 hours later, it was totally clear. That was six weeks ago and I haven't had a problem since. That drain hasn't flowed clear for five years or more. I am ecstatic about this stuff.
I can't count the number of these products I have bought over the years, but this time I was looking for something that was safe on a bathroom sink. Probably hair and other “stuff” had this sink draining extremely slowly. Tried boiling water, vinegar, baking soda to no avail. 1/2 bottle of this stuff, 1 hour wait, flush with hot water, and sink is draining great. I will always now keep a couple bottles of this product on hand.
I use this in my shower every 3 to 4 weeks. The first time, I used the whole bottle. Now, only half. Keep things flowing without the cost of a plumber.👍
Absolutely recommend this to anyone with long hair. I have 3 people in my house with long hair and this is the only product I have found that actually clears drains immediately. I purchased hundreds of dollars on the wrong products and finally found the ONE PRODUCT THAT WORKS. I only need it once every year now if that. Love this drain opener!!!! Totally worth it. I bought it just in case bc I don't want it to be out of stock. Love this!!! Saves on a plumber and expensive products that do not dissolve hair. Definitely worth the money (even though I would pay 3 times the amount bc it actually works!!)
Stuff works fine I give 3 stars because under item description it literally has a nutrition label. I’m sure no one is that dumb but it’s not food and should not have a nutrition label. It’s a chemical. Please do not consume.
I was sure this would break up my bathroom sink clog, but it did not. Do be careful with this if you use it, it seems to have some very strong chemicals in it. To be fair, Liquid Drano, Clorox, hot water, boiling water, Dawn dish soap, baking soda and vinegar, hasn't worked yet either, so I'm having my son come to unclog it. I've plunged, but it's not working either.
I followed the instructions to a "T"- poured half the bottle in the clogged tub drain, left overnight, poured hot water down and nothing. I tried to snake the drain and noticed that my drain now has what appears to be hard, white concrete in it! It is completely clogged up! Now I have to call a plumber and spend a ton of money. Worst product ever! I started a return with Walmart and it says I'm required to bring the product back- how am I supposed to do that when the bottle is already in a landfill??
